Not sure. But I did here there is an interactive Meet & Greet type show based on some guy with a bandana. Could be related. So did they build a ride based upon all of these movies people are talking about?

They're working on it.
Highly doubtful.Any idea if any of these new animatronic characters are being installed during the current refurbishment of Disney World's POC?
probably because it lacked guns? XDI agree...not sure why Lone Ranger was so hated...I thought it was a lot of fun...
I'm a bit of an outlier here since I think Worlds End (III) may be my favorite... it's got an awesome score and felt very operatic to me. It looked amazing, visually. Storywise, I think IV was hurt by my making Jack Sparrow the central character in the plot, whereas the original trilogy was really the story of Will and Elizabeth. Sparrow works better as a secondary character (e.g. Han Solo in Star Wars).
The focus being on Will and Elizabeth made them more interesting than a film centered on Jack.
Probably why they are bring WIll back for #5...
I definitely disagree. He is literally bad because he says he's bad. There was very poor character development there. Say what you want about Pirates 3, but Davy Jones has an explanation and true character development.Same here. I didn't really care much for 2 and 3, so I thought it was the best one since the original.
Plus Ian McShane (Blackbeard) was a pretty good villain. He's no Barbosa, but he was good.
I enjoyed all three of the "first trilogy", but missed the 4th in the theater. I fell asleep - twice - trying to watch it on blue-ray. I may have to try again; third time's the charm - right? That film was endless and didn't make a damn bit of sense.
Did I mention it was endless?
Killed the franchise entirely for me.
"lord of of the rings 5" ?They brought him back for no good reason in Lord of the Rings 5 too...
The second Hobbit film might as well have been LOTR 2. Anyway...... Apparently there's no update on the Pirates refurb."lord of of the rings 5" ?
what?
According to a CM I spoke to today, the ride is due to reopen on September 25.
Doubtful. Some existing models have been upgraded. All were removed and refurbished.Any idea if any of these new animatronic characters are being installed during the current refurbishment of Disney World's POC?

That's amazing news.Doubtful. Some existing models have been upgraded. All were removed and refurbished.
Hmm, I guess I'm the only thought that found the fourth one the weakest. I found the missionary and mermaid characters to be endlessly annoying (their innocence seemed weirdly out of place in a pirate movie). And I thought the constant innuendos seemed liked desperate grabs for the audience's interest.
All in all, the innuendos along with the zombies, anachronistic "romantic" guitar music, and 3D jump scares kind of just made On Stranger Tides feel really... gimmicky, I guess? It lacked the brains or cleverness of the first three movies.
