Sorry, it isn't as steep. Rode in front still got wet but not too bad. I didn't see any Mermaids but you can hear mermaids singing. You can also feel the air effects of some cannon blasts in the fort scene.

Don't know if the drop just felt less steep because of the new boats. My wife has me second guessing because she couldn't tell the difference. Sorry writing while walking. I had my 1 year old on with me the second time when it broke down multiple times and wife isn't happy that I got greedy... lol

It was just a refurbishment to fix some existing issues. Was never really meant to include additions or enhancements.

Good grief... what is with you guys. It was to fix and refresh the stuff that was already there. There was never a word mentioned that much of anything was going to be different other then that. The fact that it broke down during the soft opening was somewhat when that should be happening. Otherwise it would be a hard opening, meaning ready to go. We never did get a description of what the "breakdown" was about or the duration of each assumed stop. Adjustments for water pressure, etc.?

Total time was about 30-45 minutes, it was number to bumber the whole time. Announcement was that the ride would be shut down and restarted, pumps would restart again, please stay away from track edges. While I was still in loading the ride had to be restarted, right after we boarded. Looked like lots of commotion in the control room. . I'm not complaining at all. The ride had a fresh feel to it, the lighting was great, the hat pirate was looking good
