I assume Conchchowder is referring to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid when she stands up and the mermaid tail gets stripped off of her.

Nothing new there. After all those trips to Walt Disney World I have never seen the waterfall at Matterhorn operating. In fact, now that I think of it, I have yet to find the Matterhorn there. It wasn't a Big Blue Pointy thing was it?

No, from other pictures I have seen that is the construction site of the towers that will be placed near the Castle. They are being built on the old WDW runway between MK and Epcot, but, closer to MK. I probably must have missed part of this conversations because I'm not at all sure why you are asking that question or what brought it into the conversation. It's not important for me to know, because it obviously wasn't something that I was originally involved with. Sorry about jumping in on a conversation that wasn't meant for me.

Please... POST AWAY! I thought it was hilarious to read about Ariel's tail right in the middle of a POTC discussion but then I remembered, wait Pirates has mermaids!

I checked the app and saw that Pirates is down today. It seems like it is every other day the ride breaks down. How are they able to keep it going if it's having consistent issues? Is it because they need it open for spring break crowds? I'm hoping I can ride it a few times this week when I'm down there.

Runway? Disney had an Airport? They should start it up again. Fly directly into WDW. Could even have their own fleet of planes with characters on them and great service. The magic could start as soon as you board the plane.
