If you go back to somewhere near the beginning of this thread you will find that the last of the original permits for the hub construction don't expire until Nov. of 2015. Don't know if it will still take this long or if any plans have changed.

Things could end earlier then the permits say, but I would expect this project to go well into the summer.

As mentioned above about what still needs to be worked on. Here marked in yellow is what I believe still needs to be touched. I'm wondering if they're going to totally finish the south portion before doing much north of the main spokes going to Adventureland and Tomorrowland.

I didn't realize it looks like there are more trees to be removed. Maybe they can work around them. :cautious: If not, I wonder how much one of those complete with roots would go for on ebay. Buyer provides their own shipping. :D

Interesting, so are you also saying those areas of dirt south of the yellow areas are now complete? Curious because will be there in one week

It should be noted that those areas are much smaller than the areas being worked on now... and won't need as extensive movement of land, I think. They'll basically just need the pathways built

TDO will not rest until there are no trees left in the MK, Maintenance expense, They might fall on a guest and most important they block the castle views from the stroller parking zone aka the entire park.

yet AK can have trees, oh wait, those have been known to fall apart. :D

but seriously that Plaza corner/tomorrowland has been ruined with all the buildings exposed and sightlines messed up, I dont see where they plan to cover any of it, I dont care how much they theme it its horrible looking without the large trees.

OK, outside of the hub, which is REALLY lacking in trees, the rest of the park is quite scent looking in the way of trees. It's no Disneyland, but go hang out by FrL/LS/AdvL. It's nice. Don't get where this attitude is from.

And honestly? I'd rather see trees back in Town Square before I saw them back in the hub.

I've got photos going back decades and there are significantly fewer trees everywhere in the MK than there used to be (in all stages of growth). Recall trees take up a few hundred square feet each which can be used for merch carts/parade viewing
