Good point! She obviously has no clue then.Read her replies below in the comment section. I cut and pasted what she wrote.
Ok, well that actually looks positive. Both planters are in, the light and speaker tower fixtures are in place for one of them and have begun to be installed in the other (it looks), and they are in the process of ripping up the old red concrete and repaving with the beige/sand color. I'm referring to the Partners area at least. Looks like they've banged a good part of that out just in a couple of days. I'm starting to feel more confident that Walt and Mickey will be out of their box by the time we head down there at the end of June/first week of July. Obviously they still need to repave the rest, plant the shrubs and plants, and install the remaining hardware on the planters (speakers, lights, railings, etc...). None of that should take too much time. Considering what they've gotten done in just a week or so, they should be able to get the rest finished in the month or so left prior to Independence Day. Agree or disagree?
I heard they are going to keep the turrets under wraps until they can organize the media event to unveil them. They are keeping the date secret because they don't want another Trader Joe's situation with people camped out to be the first to see WDW's BIG 2015 new attraction.
*I need to lay off the sarcasm pills this early in the day.
So is the stage getting smaller?
Thanks for these. Nice to see that perspective as well. I wonder if at some point they're going to move the wall back a few feet to pull up the red pavement in front of that area - which is part of that center hub/Partners area, or if they're just going finish this all up for the Independence Day crowd/July early August, and then finish the rest in late August/September? When they did the other side of Partners they had the wall completely around the red pavement, not just up past the planters like they are here. Either way, now that the 24 hour event is over, I expect this area to finish up within the next 2-3 weeks at the latest - this IS Disney though, so this could be all we see for another two months (I hope not though - PROVE ME WRONG MOUSE!! ha).OK everyone as promised my brother @PaintTheFantasy sent these pictures for everyone... There is a small problem however we are having some technical issues on his end so I can only provide the ones he sent to me via txt... Anyway they are similar to what has already been posted yesterday, but look to be a different point of view. These are from yesterday 5/22/2015:

How can you tell? I just figured they were laying down some rebar and pouring concrete. Post tension slab work sounds cooler though. hahahmmmm...Looks like post tension slab work....Very exciting....

I had no clue what 'post tension slabs' were so I looked it up. It makes a ton of sense, so to your point, yeah, I hope as well. When you think of how many people walk and roll over these areas over a given day - let alone a month or year, it better be sturdy. No matter what it is, I'm just glad to see this step. It means it's close. You may be right... I would just hope they went for durability and stability... I made an assumption from the angle of the picture...
