I don't like the new "gardens" fake grass, no trees, no flowers....looks like a hospital sterile garden. Plus, one section for fastpasses only.
I don't know when you booked, but the hub refurb was announced about a year ago. I'll grant you that reservation booking agents are seldom in the loop when it comes to park operation, but there are other sources of info (like this website and others).dont get me wrong....i want to see MK the best it can be. Disney should let u know of things like this tho when your'e booking.
Uh...no pictures or video? Fail! They have the fountains on today testing them!
pix? vids???They have the fountains on today testing them!
If i knew the hub AND castle would look like this i would have gone some other time....just ruins the whole experience...only my opinion so y'all take it as that
The really bad news is the darn crane, when fully extended, towers over the castle by at least a third of the castle height. I had business that took me on Reams Rd this morning that runs just behind the MK and the top of the castle and the crane can be seen clearly.Yes it is.
PerspectiveIs this really all it takes to ruin your Disney experience? If it is then I can't imagine you have ever done a Disney trip when something didn't ruin it.
Pictures/video or it didn't happenThey have the fountains on today testing them!

Ok so, is it really that difficult to photoshop out the crane?
At least it's not all tarped up like DLR.
I am going next month and I kind of hope the tarps are still up. We have plenty of pictures in front of the castle and it would be amusing to have one in front of the tarps instead. (I would feel bad for other people who don't want a joke-castle-tarp picture though.)When I went to Disneyland and saw this it didn't upset me cause I knew it needed to be done. I'll see the castle next time when it's looking better

That would be epic. Totally serious. Now I want more fountains.I heard the fountains shoot up like in the World of Color viewing area fountains
Or covered in scaffolding.
Anyone still want to complain about that crane?
Oh, wow. Now that's something.
It's practically what's going on in Disneyland right now.To be fair, they did wrap it in a photo realistic scrim. But that was the view for a while in Tokyo.
