Even better if they did a Christmas version of MSEP. WDW did it with the original soundtrack but considering the soundtrack now a days is basically the same as Tokyo’s Dreamlights, they could just use their Christmas version, with some tweaks.

On pure guess with the seasonal shows. I think MSEP will run until early Nov to be replaced by A Christmas Fantasy. With Disneyland Forever ending in early Sept to be replaced with Halloween Screams, followed by a 2 week run of Mix Magic till Believe closes out the year.

I feel more certain with my fireworks guess, maybe we can have MSEP and A Christmas Fantasy at the same time!?!?! I'm pretty sure MSEP fits under the garland? At least it did during its MK run when the top of the clock tower was removed. lol

Maybe PTN, and Magic Happens get wrapped up into some Disney 100th promo and come back in 2023? wrapped up with Run Away/ToonTown?

Yeah thats kinda my guess that Magic Happens and PTN will be saved for the 100th next year. And they’ll probably make some modifications to PTN and Magic Happens with a new float or two.

They'd have to basically redo the whole thing for DL's parade if they wanted to do a Christmas overlay, as they did when they did the rescore back in 2009. The two parades have only diverged further since then too.

They certainly could, but to modern Disney I can't imagine they could justify the expense.

That said, there was a Christmas soundtrack of the original parade that Tokyo potentially and Paris definitely used-they'd just have to **gasp** go back to the parade's original soundtrack!

I believe WDW's version of MSEP also had a Christmas overlay but was very short-lived. I believe it was during the mid to late 1990s.

Yup. It was so awesome and with the Main Street garland! Heart breaking every time I see MSEP and Spectro videos from the MK 💔.

That's why I like when it's the off season and fantasmic isn't nightly. You get to do the twain at night, and on nights fantasmic shows can watch it.

If the original fantasmic comes back im there on memorial day weekend. Seeing all the work they're doing has me cautiously optimistic.

It won't be the original show. if it was there'd be a nostalgia fueled ad campaign, "see the original classic you remember just in time for its 30th anniversary!"

Who knows though, Disney doesn't like to admit their failures. And do we really expect the 2017 version with Pirates of the Caribbean as a focus?

The show doesn't reopen for two months- there's plenty of time for an ad campaign.

Do I really think they're gonna bring back the original? I wouldn't bet on it. But if they do, I'm there.

I just know that the rumor going around entertainment a few months ago was that it was 1. Going to debut early summer of 22 and 2. Was going to be the original show with the new tech.

The person I talked to mentioned that there are a more than a few people who would go back to work the show if it was the original. And they got the early summer part right.

Do I trust TDA to bring back the original show? Not at all. But until we get a press release and advertising that proves otherwise, there is that possibility and all of the work they're doing on the island is promising.

The Lady shouting and yelling for Jack Sparrow was the worst part of the updated Fantasmic. It's been a while since I seen the Pirates movies, but I think she was one the leading characters of the series.

I think she was supposed to be Kiera Knightley. But it's not entirely clear and the voice actress sounds nothing like any major character in the series (that I can think of). Really, the whole scene is a mess.

It was interesting, when the '17 version debuted here lines were very 'Save me Jack' 'I need your help Jack' for the entire scene.



A few months later they changed it to 'I don't need your help Jack'



But neither version of the scene was as good as this-
