That was so good, loved it! It's great that the Halloween ending didn't take away from the rest of the show really, I hope they bring something like this to Anaheim since they can't do fireworks every night during the off season.

I understand the reasoning behind the changes, but there’s no reason the new versions cannot be the same or an improved standard.

I mean the Main Street one looks like an improvement. I can't remember seeing the Frontierland one recently, but it has hopefully weathered a bit

I think these are both fine and do not impact the theme and update to more respectful references. The wood timber framing and rope strapping around the edge of the new frontier sign needs to be added back. That would be my only "concern" with these updates.

Because they’re not doing the same work? Paris BTM was already closed for 13 months in 2016.

Nope. Personally it doesn’t feel like it needs it.

6 months feels like too short to get a full retracking, Nemesis at Alton Towers took 16 months, Incredible Hulk took a year, I think BTM at DL took a year. DLP will (I assume) be draining and refilling the river and that takes a good number of weeks when they can't get cranes to the island etc.

I think at most this will be a thorough refurbishment of the mountain including a full repaint and some selective track replacement as required.
