Magic Shots

Hi All,

I'm a photopass junkie as well as obsessed with getting all the magic shots. I am not sure if this has been started yet but is there a list of available shots and where to get them?

Here is a list compiled.

Tinker Bell in your hand - each park as a different Tink so get them all
Balloons in your hand
Simba in your arms
Mickey on a bench
Minnie on a bench
Stitch on a bench
Lilo on a bench
Stitch coming out of the ground
Captain Hook fighting with swords - I know this was around in 2007 but couldn't find it this year
kissing Naveen from Princess and the Frog
Pixie Wings
Butterflies in your hands
holding Chip from Beauty and the Beast
Soarin'
Ghost by haunted mansion (think only during MNSSHP)
I have seen fighting darth vador but only during Star Wars weekend

Am I missing any? I know they have different ones at Disneyland but this is the list from Disney World. I was able to get all of these except AK Tink, Lilo on the bench, and fighting Captain Hook. Oh and Darth Vader but I think that is only Star Wars weekends.

The Photopass photographer will give you a sword or lightsaber to hold (which ever is applicable)



There is another one where the PP mentioned that involves the other 2 of the hitchhiking ghosts, so that pictures with all 3 of them can be obtained between the two spots.

I usually avoid the photographers like the plague but seeing the Capt Hook pic, possibly the Ghosts and Vader? You know I'm hitting up every single one!

Thanks! I was just thinking that! What's been added this year! I'm sure when Snow White opens there will be a new one by the Mine Ride. But I haven't heard of anything new yet. Maybe with Magic Memories though they will have added stuff!

I don't think Mike was in the list, is he still being done?

Nope. However, not all photographers can do them, and most can only be done in certain areas of the park. Some photographers will do them without prompting, others you may need to ask.

Do we know if the Mike Wazowski magic shot is still being done at Hollywood Studios, since they've changed the Meet and Greet back to just Monsters, Inc.?

A magic shot would be a good name for a liquor shot that Disney could come up with and capitalize on!

Our DD loves Tinker bell. Where can you get the other magic shots of her besides at the castle? And where can you do the pixie wings one?

We went MK on Memorial Day, and when I checked the PhotoPass border options, I noticed a border for the SDMT. Do we know if the are going to be doing any M&G's or Magic Shots, by the new ride, since they're at least incorporating borders?

Also, are they still doing the Monsters U Mike Magic Shot, in front of DHS? I haven't been back there since before MU was released.

Lastly, I know that for Star Wars Weekends, last year, they had a Darth Vader Magic Shot and a Storm Troopers Magic Shot. Has anyone seen any new ones, this year?

That's one I still haven't been able to get. I had heard that it was retired, and only the Stitch popping out of the ground was still an option for him. Is it still being done?

Sorry! I'm just now seeing this post! You can find Tinkerbell at any of the parks, and mainly in the hub locations of each park. At MK, you can get her on Main Street, in front of the castle. At DHS, we got her on Sunset Boulevard, in front of the Beauty and the Beast Show. At EPCOT, we got her in front of Spaceship Earth and at Animal Kingdom we got her on the bridge between the Oasis and Discovery Island.

You used to be able to get the Fairy Wings at Pixie Hollow, at MK, but I'm not sure if that's changed, since they moved Tink to the Main Street Theatre. They can still be gotten at EPCOT. We got them in front of Spaceship Earth, at the beginning of May.

Got the kissing frog for my daughter and she had her make over and was in Tiana dress I put pic on here if I could work how........ And we got one of her sitting with Mickey on the curb. No baby yet disney girl?
