Just did and...wow. You're right. My apologies. Company ID's are, at the moment, apparently going to be blocked that night. Holy moly.

That's just...really low and tacky. I'm glad I have a comp ticket I can use.

Just wanted to point out that Universal has never blocked Employee's from entering the parks.

Yes they have. Last year Kelly Clarkson concert. Unless you were in already and worked before you didn't get in. They weren't allowing Team Members in at the front. At least as far as I can remember.
The point still stands. Team Members are allowed in for Halloween Horror Nights as well, which Disney would never allow if they ever had such a prestigious Halloween event, seeing as they block CM's from MNSSHP and MVMCP...

Can you imagine the chaos if Disney allowed their nearly 60,000 Central Florida based cast to attend the hard ticket events for free.

There's a difference between "Oh we hit capacity block out annual passes and employees" and "Oh hey, it might be busy...let's block out employees from entering"

Has anyone heard any information on the schedule for the day? would it be similar to leap day last year? and what kind of other entertainment would be there? besides the ones announced.
i know for a fact there will be a dance party involved.

No sunrise performance of Celebrate the Magic? Last year they did The Magic, The Memories, and You right before they closed.

Between that and the fact that Space and Splash are both closing well before 6 AM, they seem like they're trying to encourage most guests to leave before 6.

We are going to be there, from at least 8pm until we drop! We are not so worried about how much we manage to do, after a looong sleep afterwards, finance has a surprise planned that has us back in MK at 5pm on the 25th and we I'll stay for the weekend closing time then too. So anything we don't hit on the 24 hr we can easily go back for then. We just want to be there for this awesome event. When am I gonna next get the oppurtunity to watch MSEP at 1am!? That and Wishes are my only must do's that night. I think once you accept that it's more about the atmosphere than how many rides you hit up the stress really goes out of it.

To those saying it is nothing special or unique. It is for some of us. I wasn't even aware of one more Disney day when that happened, I wasn't involved in the community the way I am now. I have never done anything like this before and I for one am completelymexcitednto experience it.

They closed early last time too
