Magic Kingdom park-wide buyout on Oct 22

"El Gran Magnifico"

Mr Flibble is Very Cross.
Gartner takes over Boardwalk when they are there. Experienced it first hand (not as a part of the conference - as a registered regular 'ol Dolphin Guest). Not sure how I even got a room there (but somehow I managed to).

Had no idea about the conference. Put it this way, I got my parking and resort fee waived plus got a few thousand SPG points for my trouble. They invaded everywhere. Nothing against the conference, but had I known I wouldn't have booked there. Other than loud raucous parties at the bar (and sometimes overheard in the hallways), the impossibility of eating anywhere at the resorts and other places in Boardwalk due to "private parties", the outdoor stage situated between the Swolphin where they held something I can't even classify - everything was good.

Don't want to be a Debbie Downer, cause I've been on the other side. Two weeks from now I go to World Travel Market in London and I'll be part of the group they lodge complaints against. So it's all good.

It’s the Gartner Symposium. They already have a posting inviting attendees to the night.

Yep. I will be looking forward to it :)
Will be very interesting to see the park for an event like this. Tickets are included for attendees but if they want to bring someone it is $175 per person.

The host hotels are Swan & Dolphin with over flow into YC and GF. (update, hear they have people at 20 hotels for over flow)

That's something you don't see everyday at MK. Massive amounts of booze being consumed by thousands of guests. But it's a private event.

In the 7 figures for the entire MK for an evening during what would otherwise be regular hours or Halloween party.
Easily. It’s not common for a MK buyout to be the entire park - typically most spring for half starting with the half of Liberty Square that has the Haunted Mansion through Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Main Street.

It’s a super high price tag since it’s the full park, as well as food and alcohol, during a typically heavy attendance period due to the neighboring MNSSHP nights. Not to mention fireworks and event specific entertainment too.

They're only "renting" for 5 hours? If I was filthy rich, I'd book the park for a whole day, just for my family. And I'd want it fully staffed too. With the parades, and HEA. And let me drive my Lambo around the park. Yeah. :D
Many years ago a Saudi prince and his group rented the entire Florida Mall in Orlando late one night. Every store had to be opened and staffed and the group went on their spending spree.

Oh, I wouldn't spend a dime other than the booking cost. I would expect everything else to be free. ;)
