Magic Kingdom losing evening EMHs?

OK, if you don't have any clue as to how evening EMH works, then you should stop talking about it as if you do.

I'm just relaying that I have been told and read that people linger. I am not aware that everyone is given wrist bands except for ticketed events. That must be an amazing sight if that is how it works. In the evening. Seems odd they would give wrist bands in the morning.

So please explain how this is done.

No. You just stop talking about stuff you know nothing of and opining on it like you do.

It’s slightly different when morning EMH are listed two mornings per week, though. Could it be an error? Of course. But it’s somewhat more likely that it’s intentional.

Not sure if this has been suggested yet. But could it be they’re trying to lure some people away from DHS in the mornings?

And it’s also possible it could just be due to the party season.

As a definite night owl though, I much prefer evening EMH, or just later park closings of course, to early mornings. I rarely get to a park before 9:30, even at Christmas!

I don't believe you need a wrist band to get into emh. So how can they tell a day guest from an emh participant to begin the herding process?

There is no herding process. Once the park closes to day guests on an Evening EMH you can not do anything without having your park ticket or magic band scanned. If you go to an attraction and you are not a resort guest, they will not let you on. If you try to enter the park, they will not let you in. Unless you like to people watch, there will be nothing for you to do in the measly two hours that the evening EMH takes place.

But you can shop, eat and watch the projection shows like I've heard then?

If you are already in the park. Makes sense with what I've heard 👂

Thanks.

No wonder they seem to be considering mornings only. Sounds like a logistical headache.

Not really. There’s a great fun atmosphere in the evening EMH at MK. Those roaming CMs are interacting with guests at the same time. People will get the message if they can’t get on any ride.

The truth is there is a fast pass model that is working quite well.....it's at Universal. I think their system works well. I like the fact that you have to stay at certain hotels to get the pass or you have to pay for it. Makes sense to me. Almost always walk right on most rides. The least Disney should do is make it for resort guests only. Not sure of the incentive to give it for free to anyone else. And I would only give it free to Deluxe resort guests. Then value and moderates could get a discounted price, off site pays full price. Why not?
