Did you hear something are you just guessing?

Maybe it was the right Guess???
Biff has/had access to the Sports Almanac. What is not apparent is that it also has the dates of Disney announcements, so he is privy to what is being said on June 10;)

Hope that doesn't mean AK will stay at 6pm for summer and DHS at 7pm...

My hope is AK to at least 7pm, DHS to at least 8, MK seems pretty firm at 9, maybe 9:30, with Boo Bash. Epcot at 10... Epcot at 11 would be fantastic.
DAK continues to have lighter attendance later. Except for glow paint, trying to keep it open late kinda flopped. I expect DHS to stick with 8 pm.

There are multiple factors why that include limited staffing, covid policies, and not wanting to draw in too many locals at once
I mean if they plan on having HEA run that day, I dont see the difference between that and running Celebrate America, its going to be packed either way.

More would hop over for special fireworks. If the fireworks on 7/3 are the same as 7/2 and 7/1, what does it matter which night you come? If they did a special show after no fireworks for 16 months, you’d have tens of thousands from other parks trying to get to MK.

Or they can say, “we don’t trust people” and wait until mid-July. I gather the final call has been made because the final cogs are moving but I’m unaware of the decision.

But I thought MK reservations are fully booked out already for July 2nd-4th?

At AK, really hoping we get more then the Beacons of Magic ToL lighting effects, but I admit expecting a temp show is very far-fetched.

We leave June 23rd so I'm really, reaaaaally hoping for the end of June. We're usually Disneyland folks so we've only experienced WDW pandemic style, would be nice to see something... anything! It's all new to us anyways. 🤞

You may be right, but what a waste to have the lights of Pandora, that nobody will be able to see...
What a waste to have a high quality signature restaurant in Tiffins, that nobody can really enjoy for dinner. (closed for late dinner. And an early dinner is a bit pointless if you can't enjoy the park after dinner).

That is sad. I also really enjoy the projections they do on the Tree of Life.

Shall we put a fine point on this: no special 4th of July fireworks! They didn’t even order the pyro and it isn’t included in those TNT packages at Walmart so that ship has sailed.
Indeed.

People keep forgetting that big events, like a special fireworks show, needs to be planed months in advance.

Months ago, Disney didn't know if they would even be able to do fireworks on July 4 because of COVID distancing restrictions, or, if they would have the staff to manage it.

Only two weeks ago, did Disney discover that they could possibly do fireworks on July 4 (and also have Epcot Forever also running so as to spread the crowds that evening). But even now, they still don' have the staff.

The time to pull the trigger on Jul 4 fireworks has passed. And what they knew then was, "not likely at all." So, they pulled the trigger and decided no special July 4 fireworks. And they didn't order the shells.

HEA fireworks are in storage and on order. They can turn that event on the moment they have the staff and the end of all restrictions.
