I very much doubt it.So if Epcot Staffing isn't a problem on the 4th, might we see a quick little thing?

Did you hear something are you just guessing?Announcements incoming June 10th
Dammit, Biff!
I was wondering if maybe the MK capacity was being kept somewhat lower compared to other parks through that date to ease into the fireworks crowd logistics. To me, it would be odd that for an almost two-week period, MK has that much higher interest compared to the other parks (for non AP entry) based on firework rumors. But who knows!
Putting aside "soft openings" of fireworks before the 4th. Why not the 4th? Just asking. It wouldn’t be the 4th.
They'll probably shut down transport if hoppers hit capacity. Then people will cry and Disney will say we told you this was our policy six months ago. And people will say "but you never did it so we thought you were kidding" and Disney will offer to bring back ohana noodles to make it up to them. What’s going to happen is many will try to grab Epcot or whatever is available as far as reservations and hop over to MK on HEAs opening nights. Question is will Disney allow this to happen? Kinda thinking not lol. But I can almost guarantee you that won’t stop many from trying and cause big transportation lines and MK parking lot jams.
I'm not going into that Storm but.....Bad News Yesterday, Wonderful News Today???They'll probably shut down transport if hoppers hit capacity. Real Question or Sarcasm? Why exactly wont they be doing 4th of july fireworks?
There are multiple factors why that include limited staffing, covid policies, and not wanting to draw in too many locals at onceWhy exactly wont they be doing 4th of july fireworks?
Well if they have already booked up park reservations just start the rope drop under phase whatever and keep the attendance low. There are multiple factors why that include limited staffing, covid policies, and not wanting to draw in too many locals at once
That's true. I feel like they will possibly announce the return of fireworks on July 4th if it does not return before then.Well if they have already booked up park reservations just start the rope drop under phase whatever and keep the attendance low.
The reservation system should limit the attendance... Unless its a fake system...There are multiple factors why that include limited staffing, covid policies, and not wanting to draw in too many locals at once
That would be an argument for starting HEA days before and just running the normal show. Under no circumstance will they run special fireworks. It will be normal fireworks nightly starting in late June or mid-July. In either case, July 4th will be treated as just another day.Well if they have already booked up park reservations just start the rope drop under phase whatever and keep the attendance low.
Agreed - park hopping would get messy but so would restricting it. We have MK reservations for 7/6 and 7/7, so I'm following along with this thread to try to gauge what that's going to be like. What’s going to happen is many will try to grab Epcot or whatever is available as far as reservations and hop over to MK on HEAs opening nights. They have been planning for this and can accommodate hoppers even with the increased capacity. Recall that capacity limits are of their own making.Agreed - park hopping would get messy but so would restricting it. But you can see why they would not choose to open HEA first, now. It would either be EF first with HEA arriving later or both on the same night. MK can’t be the only park with fireworks.
Epcot is already open until 10 for summer. *nevermind. Only through mid July. I agree that they’ll extend the rest of summer. With transportation issues, they’ll continue to want DAK and DHS cleared out before fireworks time, then MK can have most buses and monorail, then Epcot last. They may even choose to show EF at 9:30 pm or later. Thankfully, many resorts are accessible by SkyLiner, boat, foot, or monorail from Epcot. It's also a good reason I expect to see Epcot hours extended to at least 10pm for the summer.
Give an additional reason (extra hour of park time) to spend the night at Epcot instead of MK.
Fantasmic still looks months away.. or any rumor of it also coming back in the July timeframe?

I‘ve only heard “by October“ for F!
