I don't care if the Spectromen we're viewed as creepy. They were very entertaining characters.

They were indeed creepy to me when I was younger lol, but I like how Paint the Night has the VIPs riding what the SpectroMen used to ride. I'd take that nod.

I really don’t want a copy of PTN at WDW but should that happen, wouldn’t be surprised, they could move the finale floats to the front of parade which would give a better node to SpectroMagic.

I don’t want a clone of PTN either. I find it a bit overrated. It’s not bad and I don’t mind the soundtrack but I want more floats and a longer parade. We deserve a newly created one. We need our own Dreamlights just as a nod to Spectro instead of MSEP.

I can’t like this enough. Spectro was perfect for WDW; it felt more like WDW than the MSEP, which was very cute but a bit too small. A Dreamlights version of Spectro would be fantastic.

It’s possible, I feel like they are going to bring over some Dreamlights floats as they did with other daytime parades. In a year or so TDL might give Dreamlights another update which could open the door for WDW to purchase the retired floats. Unless TDL still has the older already retired Dreamlights floats.

I know this pic has been debunked as only being a advertisement for a phone case or something but every time I see it, it looks like a similar idea of the PTN opening float and an altered Dreamlights float for Alice. I know it’s not but it could be potential concept art.

They don't seem to be fading, normally when something is fading sometimes they try to repaint it during the hours that the parade is in storage.
probably has to do with the "burn up" effect when the sun is so strong. it makes the eye perceive less vibrant colors.

Didn't they order some new floats or something like that possibly for a new nighttime parade at the Mk ???

Why does the MK, the most visited park in the world/cash cow, need to purchase floats from another park?
One answer could be "why spend money on a parade when people are coming in droves regardless?", though that's a little bit of an oversimplification.

I'd also like to be very clear that I personally felt devastated by destruction of Spectro and think Disney should absolutely provide the Magic Kingdom with a glowing, beautiful, new night parade.

I thought the new double hub would be PERFECT to handle a night parade. I remember when it was under construction with MSEP running-what a nightmare!! Now it’s open and we got nothing.

Bizarre!

It's not bizarre.

While borrowing one park's electric parade, they let the one they own rot. Then when they had to give back the loaner, they were left with nothing. Guest satisfaction with HEA is very high, so, they're waiting until the 50th anniversary in which they already had budgeted for a new electric parade to come out with a new electric parade.

The only thing that's wrong here was the malfeasance that let Spectromagic rot.

Not to mention WDW's version of MSEP was moved to Disneyland Paris a long time ago.

I hope you guys get a new nighttime parade. I miss Paint the Night Parade at Disneyland or DCA. I hope it comes back one day. In the meantime, I hope WDW fans get a new nighttime parade very soon.
