LOL :ROFLOL: Yeah, I know how having sick kids can be. And being inside with all that snow can drive you crazy!
My day is going ok I guess. Still getting over the uneccessary loss by the Titans this past weekend:cry: But other than that its going ok. Looking forwadr now to my trip back to The World in Sept.!:sohappy:

And more snow coming...sigh.

And did you see DH and I decided the family is definitely going to WDW for Thanksgiving? :sohappy: I'm just waiting till next month to book it, after we look at our tax return.

Nice, congrats! Yeah, we already know we'll have enough with our tax return to pay for the trip, so we're just waiting for that to happen. Of course the 40% pin code we got in our email helped a bunch too.:D

It might seem a little strange to read through the thread and see our conversations mixed in with comments about Bonny. But it seems right. It is how it should be. :)

Okay - this made me tear up too.....love you hon!
Well, it's true. Especially recently.

(Previously posted, but relevant to this thread.)

They were good friends of mine and I spent a lot of time at Disney with them, both working and on my days off. Unfortunately I lost touch with them over the last year or so.

Bonny was an amazing person. I can only imagine setting my own health aside for a child with as many special needs as MJ. Bonny did just that without complaint, simply out of love.

I know that Bonny has gone to heaven and, though it's still a little unusual for me, I will say a prayer for, Andrew, MJ, and for all of the lives Bonny has touched.
Well said. Very well said.

 New thread.

I echo everyone's sentiments regarding Bonny. I will always be grateful to her for bringing us all together and for the friendships that she lit fire to. I will pray for strength for Andrew & MJ.

I owe my thanks to Bonny for not only introducing me to a wonderful group on Chit-Chat, but also introducing me to WDWMagic. I first met Bonny in 2005. I was at the castle in between shows, and Bonny and family came through. MJ was dressed up like Snow White, so I gave her a Snow White pin from my bag. I would have gone on my way, but the castle show manager (TC) urged me to go hang out with them. And the rest, as they say, is history. I've been blessed to be able to spend time with them ever since. I got to see Finding Nemo for the first time with Bonny, MJ, and Andrew. Bonny, I know you aren't hurting anymore, and are in a better place. I will miss you a lot. My prayers go out to Andrew and MJ.:cry::cry:

The fact that Bonny pretty much single-handedly brought us together as friends, IMO, is EXTREMELY touching, and a great testament to how sincere and kind and loving and passionate a woman she was. It's such a powerful thing to think about. The fact that I probably wouldn't be writing this right now. She really did change lives.

Okay - if I could get this darn dizziness to knock off. :dazzle: I can't lay down at all - the room spins for a good minute.

Sounds like what I dealt with all weekend! I think the state of Ohio is getting to us. Let's go to Florida!

OMG Caroline Kennedy is here in my office. She just came in to meet with someone and I asked her name.:hammer: I thought she looked familiar but you know how so many people look like people.

Well, I got answers which was good and bad. She explained my results and the need for the amnio. Basically for me at my age (32) the risk for Down's Syndrome should be 1/340. My results came back at the level of a 38-40 year old and is 1/95. I know that's still fairly low but I like the first number better. So I am going to go ahead w/ the amnio, not that it will still change anything for us but it will be good to know. But it will be her doing the procedure and she said she's been doing them for 40 years and never had a single complication. So that made me feel a little better about the risk.

Good luck with whatever you decide Steph.

Everyone...
I just read about Bonny, and I have an idea.
This thread has gone on for far too long. How about we close it and start a new one:
"Magic Friends...Remembering Bonny"
It would be our regular thread in which we carry on as always, but we can make it a tribute to her...maybe put something in our sigs.
What say you?
If it's okay with you, I'll start it.

Great idea Dot. That thread went way too long.

Good evening - hugs to all! Such a sad ending, one we all feared would happen.

RIP Bonny. Thanks for bringing us all together here, motley crew that we are! Who'd have thought....

I really didn't know Bonny, I do remember reading her many trip reports when I first became a member of WDW Magic and they were always so wonderful. She always seemed like such a nice person.

I also didn't know that she started this wonderful group- Magic Friends. I will always be very grateful to her for that. I can't tell you all how much joy our simple conversations brings to me every day while I am otherwise in a whirl of stress and pressure at work. I say this all the time, but I am so glad that one day I wandered into Magic Friends on Chit Chat. I know from the outpouring of love and support that has been posted she will be greatly missed.

As a Cast Member, I occasionally felt disillusioned with people. In a world of sometimes rude and intimidating guests, Bonny stood out as a pure soul and renewed my faith in humanity. It sounds corny, but it's true! It's a shame she had to depart so early. Hope she's now in a state of bliss, and best wishes to Andrew, MJ, and the rest of the family in coping with our loss.
