Part of the problem is, they don't let us use calculators.That's what I always tell Abby - I got my diploma, I'm done! :lol: Besides, the way they teach math these days seriously confuses me. As long as I can balance my checkbook and use a calculator, I can live with myself.
Which is stupid, because they know that for the rest of our lives that's all we'll be using.
Well, I'm not a burger person, but the shakes are fantastic!!

I know exactly what you mean. I was amazed when Freddy had that algebra question and with a little of Betty's help reminding me how to do it, I figured out the equation.That's what I always tell Abby - I got my diploma, I'm done! :lol: Besides, the way they teach math these days seriously confuses me. As long as I can balance my checkbook and use a calculator, I can live with myself.
I was quite impressed with myself. B/c usually, I'm just like...nope. :lol:

wow...not letting you use calculators...that stinks. Although, actually, that's probably good. I learned to rely on mine way too much and now, I can't even do simple math anymore without really thinking about it.

I always did like algebra the best out of all of it though. Geometry I really hated and I didn't like Pre-Calc and Trig either. Nor did I like Statistics for the semester I was in it.
