SOOOOO. Let's take inventory of the past 11 days:
We get stuck in a hotel for 2 1/2 days w/ in a snowstorm. Finally make it to Nebraska, and there's a blizzard, get stuck in the snow twice (with a baby) and have to get shoveled out, have to hang out the front door of my mom's house in said blizzard for about 15 minutes when the carbon monoxide detector went off, got stranded at my brother's for 2 days in same blizzard (actually this was not a bad thing, very fun), my child got his first scrape on his forehead and looks like Harry Potter after losing his balance and doing a header into an open board book, got delayed by said blizzard having to fly out a day late (also not a bad thing! but still a hiccup), then FINALLY get home last night after midnight....TO NO HEAT OR HOT WATER! :brick::brick::brick:
Do you think Murphy is trying to tell us something? :lol: This one definately goes down in the books.

It's 52 degrees in here. Luckily we were able to locate/unpack our little space heater and got it hooked up in Asher's room w/ the door closed and just are hanging in here for now. Found out that water got into the gas pipe and froze so we're getting no gas in the house. Basically they have to dig up our front yard to fix and are just waiting to get the thing signed from our landlord to start.

Oh goodness. Sounds like my trip from hell last year! at least everyone's healthy! Hope it gets figured out soon!
