he does 2 different shows, one during the day and one at night.... the first picture was at dusk (he controls the lights in the trees up and down pixar place) and this one is during the day today....

GREAT idea. Kinda reminds me of the whole "The Spectromen light Spectromagic" deal.

I love the fact that he is small and not a giant (like Stitch in SGE).

Anyone know if Luxo is one of the new outsourced AA's that is manufactured by an outside company or was he built inhouse? (I really don't care either way just curious)

New Luxo, new HoP. See, it's just as I've been saying. :xmas:

Seriously though, I love this kind of add. Fun!

jt...Of all the things to count on, these would be them, yes.:brick::lol:: This was confirmed weeks ago and everyone has had high hopes and expectations for HoP. Even your friends in the Doom and Gloom Crew.

Don't celebrate yet( Don't celebrate today...I know the banners tell you to...:lookaroun)...Celebrate when we have TLM and NewFL , a EPCOT with a cohesive FW, and a larger DAK.;)

I just like that they're thinking of a cohesive backstory like in the olden days (i.e. Luxo Lighting Co. lights Pixar Place, and he comes out and has some fun every once in a while!).

I'll tell you coununudrum made a good point. With the opening of HoP and the recent awesome HM rehab, Liberty Square should be near 100% what we expect. With rumors of Fantasyland being next. I'm telling you, it's going to sweep through the whole MK. And be finished up right about 2011.

Most of the recent rehabs have just been patch jobs to hold them together until they get the HM/HoP/LS treatment. :)

It's a good theory. It works, too. If the climate was different I would really expect it.

Meanwhile...I hope for it...I wait for it...and the refurb walls.:rolleyes::lol:

I wonder what ever happened to the TL Refurb that I heard of this time last year...:lookaroun

Exactly. I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing all the positive trends. Even the most cynical doom and gloomer is going to have to admit the tide is turning and WDW is getting back to fundamental principles for delivering magical guest experiences!

If I had to guess, I'd say it was not quality and got kicked right back to be rethought. I can't tell you how well I think SciFiCity would work. Maybe they are doing some reimagining.

My guess is cheap refurbs and the like have come to a screeching halt. Perhaps Stitch's latest venture will be seen as the turning point and the worst...umm...I mean best thing that ever happened!

BnL? It looked fantastic. Maybe they pushed it out because of SM.

BnL works, as do about a thousand other ideas under the sci-fi label. I think Luxo is just the beginning of some really fun stuff. Not just Pixar either. By the way, The Incredibles would also work pefectly. It just makes total sense.

OK, I'm done with the pixie dust :dazzle:
