Wow!! What a show. It kept me hanging on the edge of my seat . . . I couldn't switch to see how American Idol was going!!

Now, here come my quesitons, (because inquring minds want to know).

Have you checked out http://www.thefuselage.com? It's a great site with some very intelligent posters (not that I've been known to post there ;) ). I won't post the general feelings of the Fusekateers on these questions (in case other inquiring minds don't want to know), but if you haven't checked it out, I think you'd enjoy it.

That pre-flight video was great! Some images that haven't been seen down here, though. I take it those extra in-plane images are from the last episodes?

^Yes. Big, dramatic music, with a "they-dont-know-whats-about-to-happen-but-its-happy-for-now" feel to it. :)

... I still can't stop laughing at the video.

Well, we're done down here. And I have VERY mixed feelings. Let's see what Season 2 brings. Now, some thoughts:

1) Guys, I couldn't manage to find the hidden script page on Oceanic's site.

2) If you haven't been to the flight chart page in a while, there are some new blurbs. There's a "Pre-Board Check-In" button with another teaser, and there's a flashing number that goes to another teaser.

3) How do you figure the molotov-throwing chick in the motor boat is Alex?

4) What I got from the last episodes:

- Sawyer and Jin, who we thought were bad, are cool; and Locke and Kate, who we thought were cool, I personally can't stand.

- I was glad Hurley saw the numbers on the hatch. I doubt it he'll go in there now.

- Rousseau is cuckoo, and I don't think there are any others. She lit the the smoke column to get Claire's Baby. Ethan was probably part of the motor boat's party, and I think they're some other kind of castaways, like our Lostaways and Rousseau herself.

- The "monster" security system is definitely a robot.

- Speck's big text from a couple pages back mentions Arzt. How the frick is he gonna come back???

Check out www.lostlinks.net for some previews and an image of the lost script page.

I do not think Rousseau lit the smoke....I think she was there as she wanted to try to trade the baby for Alex.......she thought they wanted the baby, but it was Walt they wanted.

The blonde on the raft....she looked about the right age to be Alex....on top of that, the camera was on her a bit too long for the character to NOT be significant.

Side note....Ethen wanted Claire....probably for the baby....could it be that Ethan was not part of "the others", but perhaps in the same situation as Rousseau?

The security systems is at least partly mechanical

Season 2

Episode One:
"Man of Science, Man of Faith" written by Damon Lindelof (most likely Locke and Jack focused.....rumor is that the hatch gets explored)

Episode Two:
"Adrift" written by Steven Maeda & Leonard ________ (it sounds like something to do with the raft....I would assume Michael/Jin/Sawyer focused)

Episode Three:
"Orientation" written by Javier Grillo-Marxuach & Craig Wright (not sure, but at least 2 new regulars have been written in to season 2, both from the tail section of the plane (at least 1 is from the tail section))

Losing it over 'Lost'
7/26/05

"Lost" executive producer Damon Lindelof said it's a "dream come true" to be producing a cult show that's been accepted by the mainstream audience, but he also feels viewers' pain, especially the pain of wanting answers to all the frustrating questions the series has posed.

"My own sense as a viewer is in conflict with my senses as a [TV show creator]," Lindelof said after winning Theater Critics Association awards for best new program and best drama Saturday night. "I want to reveal mysteries at a rate faster than we're going. I don't want to do the perpetual nine-season stall."

But he said it's difficult to judge that. He and co-creator J.J. Abrams know how they want the series to end, but, Lindelof said, "When you run a race and don't know where the end is," it becomes difficult to figure out how much to parcel out and when to do it.

He defended the May season finale, saying it was in line with the job of a cliffhanger: to make people anticipate the next season. But he does promise that within the first 15 minutes of the "Lost" season premiere, which picks up 30 seconds after the season finale, the characters will learn what's in the hatch that's been taunting them (and viewers) for months.

"You'll get a lot of answers in the season premiere," he said, "and a couple more questions."

Promises, promises.

After that disappointing May season finale, during which viewers got basically no payoff for staying tuned all season, Lindelof said the first three episodes will take place in a six-hour period and will deal with the ramifications of opening the hatch, the kidnapping of young Walt (Malcolm David Kelley) and the lost-at-sea trials of Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and crew.

To add to the upcoming season info, here's a little snippet from tvguide.com:

"Here's another tidbit from Mr. Lindelof: 'Right out of the gate in the season premiere, the numbers become a driving and fundamental plot point of the second season. I don't think people will be disappointed in what they are, what they mean and how they're being used.'"

Also, Lindelof tells me that the mystery surrounding the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 — which was originally going to be solved in a minimovie on the first-season DVD — will be resolved this season. 'By the finale of Season 2," he says, "you will know why the plane crashed.'"

In the STates, by the end of September, I suppose. Is the DVD set out yet? Anyone got it/has pre-ordered it?

Nope, they're not released yet. I'm sure it comes out on the 6th of Sept. I haven't pre-ordered it, in fact I haven't even watched the re-runs.

Didn't it seem like the Lostzilla sound? Maybe it's another security system.

The thing got me pumped for the new season, and we're only getting it down here around December/January!
