4. Where did the motor boat come from? And what about the gas to power it? These people have been trapped for almost 16 years. Yes, the boat was in rusty and worn condition, but where did it come from? The French lady and her party (of 6 right?) were marooned. But how did they become marooned? And, if this group has gas for their boat, why don't they use it to get off the island. Unless, they are part of the security system too!

Who ever said "the others" were marooned....if they were there when the French lady got there....they could have been there for a long time....it could be their native island.

2. The whole schuffle on the boats happened so quickly and I don't have TEVO. Sawyer pulled his gun and shot. Did someone on the other boat also pull a gun and fire?

Yes!!

Oh, you have a chance to watch it again on Saturday night at 8.

6. The hatch, to me, appears to be a huge, immense, (and very, very deep) fall-out shelter. But, is it connected someone to the hole that the monster "lives" in?

I was thinking the same thing…it has to be an access shaft of some sort. Something is obviously under the island for the monster to come up from under the trees.

Roxy:

Thanks! This made me chuckle.

Are you talking about the text that is hidden behind the blurb from Michael O, president of the Oceanic Airlines. Actually, there are two. One is about Sally and the other about Robert (who ever they are).

Chele,

I just figured it out... if you click on the numbers 4-8-15-16-23-42 (just the numbers, not the seats) you will get the trailer. Its pretty cool. :D

I cut and pasted this from a related website (not sure if I'm permitted to do that or not). I haven't check it all out . . .

They're talking about clicking on the seats on the seating charts.

Click 4A = 29C turns green (Charlie - At first nothing happened when I clicked on him, but later I got Claire's diary from him one time and a Driveshaft pass another time.)
- Click 8A = 27G turns green (Edward Mars - same thing, initially he didn't do anything but later clicking him shows his FBI ID interspersed with him lying, maybe dead, on the island)
= 27H turns orange (Kate Ryan - plane turns to toy plane. Although I haven't seen it, some people have seen her mugshot.)
- Click 15A = 9E turns green (Boone - nothing happened initially when I clicked on him, but other times it flashed his face on the screen for a few seconds. One alternate way of getting this is to go in and click on Jack first (23A) and then 16A. That makes Boone light up and you can click on him to see the flash.)
- Click 16A = 23A turns green (Jack - vodka bottle flashes across screen, 9E goes blank)
= click Jack again, Oceanic 777 turns to URL for another Lost teaser site, which in turn links to the ABC message boards.
= click Jack again, 23A goes blank and 23D turns orange (Rose - at first nothing happens when I click on her. Later I clicked on her and her wedding ring dropped down the screen along with a sound byte of her talking.) 23C changes but it doesn't have a name on it...presumably this is Rose's husband's seat.
- Click 42B = 24D turns green (Locke - freaky psycho knife flash)
- Shannon is in 9F. Click on her 4 times to get Sayid's driver's license. Sometimes when you click on her you get one of the papers Sayid took from the French woman.

From Roxy's link, click on Home, and then highlight the yellow box on the right. The yellow box talks about all Oceanic Airline Flights being cancelled. Behind it us hidden text that seems a little odd. You may have to highlight, then cut and paste to blank document to read it. It's two items. One is about Sally and the other is about Robert.

I think they're just letters from people from the island, but I'm not sure how they'd get on an airline website.

In that same box there is a hidden page (a script page that never made it on air). Click on the far right hand side of the box and you'll see a gray box appear...drag it out and you'll see the script.

Well, I'm going along through the thread as the episodes are aired down here. Yesterday, it was the one when Charlie kills Ethan. Very exciting stuff, although Charlie got very annoying up to this point. I used to like him, but now, not so much. And Locke is also getting on my nerves. So far, Hurley is my favorite, and after Michael's ep. I kinda have some more simpathy for him.

As for the discussion, you guys have wonderful theories and arguments. Hopefully, in about a month, I'll be able to discuss things more openly with you. :p

Wait until Hurley's episode....it is classic (and funny)

I like this show a lot, but is it just me, or does anyone else feel like the events in this show are kinda random? The polar bears, the weird people that never seem to show up, the people in the last episode that....well for the people who haven't seen it I won't give it away but, do any of these events really fit together?

They probably do.....we just don't know it yet.

In some ways, I feel the show is just stringing along the audiance, but in others, if they gave too much information away, it might not be as interesting to watch....

No problem. They have a bunch of funny fan vids on their site. Some aren't working though, so I actually sent them $10 and got a DVD with all of them on it. Lots of Farscape ones that are pretty good. My personal favorite is one for the show "7 Days" to the tune of AC/DC's "Big Balls."
