That's fine, but why can't they have a schedule where Ludwick spends two months at WDW, then the cocstume gets cleaned and he spends two months at DLR and then a month off for cleaning, then 2 months at Tokyo, etc? Do this for 5-6 groups of rare characters and you have 1-2 groups of rare characters at a resort at any given time, so that anyone visiting gets the chance to see someone different.
It would be cheaper to just build more costumes - but the answer to either option boils down to money. Meet n greet is now love n shove. And, most park guests dont know Goofy from Pluto, do you think most of them care if they ever meet Bernard & Bianca?

Dont get me wrong they should do more of this, and it was a good event, but I get the feeling they did it because they had to, not because they wanted to.

I seem to remember when Limited Tine Magic was announced there would be a vote for the characters we'd most like to see.... So let's hope further down the line we get to vote and there will be another meet and greet with limited time characters!

Be careful what you wish for - Id rather entertainment managment pick. Did you see who won the vote when DL did it two years ago? Donald was one of them...

I have to agree with asianway here...let Entertainment surprise us by digging deep in the costume room and leave out the voting.
I doubt we would see any truly rare characters appear if folks were allowed to vote them in. I think only the die-hard fans and Cast would know what to vote for, let alone know the names of said rarities.
Guest Average always wants the commoners....

Speaking of rare characters: if they do this again, I would die (not litterally but I would get pretty excited) if I see this character in the parks:

That's right, it's Mr.Blue Bird from Disney Sing along Songs vhs tapes. Watching these vhs tapes over and over again was like practically my whole childhood. Problem is not many people would recognize him and probably hasn't stepped foot in any WDW park, but I could be wrong. He was my favorite host on those. Too bad they don't make them anymore (I swear if you were a 90s baby, you had a heck of an awesome childhood watching Disney vhs movies and as you got older you had Pixar releasing their original classics).

"Come right in Sing Along with your favorite Disney songs. Once you've heard every word you'll want to sing along!"
My sister and I use to dance around the living room sing at the top of our lungs we had like 20 of them!

The good news is if you can't view em on your vhs tapes anymore, they have majority of the ones on youtube. That's how I watch em still.

Next Long Lost Friends should include Miss Bianca, Bernard, Jaq, Gus Gus, Hades, Darkwing Duck, Ice Gator, Lagoona Gator and Dumbo.

That's who I would choose.

My first interaction with a character was with Gus. I was 3 years old. I would LOVE to see Gus out. I never understood why Gus and Jaq did not do M&G but Suzy & Perla did (even though they do not have names in the movie)

Somehow, I forgot all about this guy! I'd LOOOOOVE to see him in the parks! Did they ever make a costume for him?

(nice weather we got today, huh?!)

I have no idea whether or not he was in the parks let alone they ever made a costume design for him.

(For real, it feels like WDW weather up here. Supposed to get some snow this weekend though! One day I'll make my living headquarters somewhere in O-Town as I could care less about how hot it gets their in the summertime)

(when you do, make sure to invite me. I'm more than willing to relocate asap.)

There's a lot of characters I'm unsure if costumes even exist for... gonna do some research I think.

There's been characters in the past that have appeared but for one reason or another they are no longer with us(destroyed, sent away, retired etc). I have a list of characters that have appeared in the park and there are only a few that I can't confirm weren't in the parks.

Daniel Boone used to appear at MK. Kit Cloudkicker used to be at MK and Studios. These are the characters I would like to see brought back for LLF. Pinocchio is not a long lost friend lol.

ewwww.... yuck! Costumes are cleaned daily - which makes wear and tear go pretty quickly. I can't even imagine what it would be like if they only did it once every 2 months.
