<way off topic>Well, the love rings true. Two sausage McMuffins today. Where else can you get such a delicious breakfast for $2.18? I eat there regularly, and according to my recent physical, I'm in peak physical shape. How about that, Super Size Me guys?!</way off topic>

The big question is, were they with egg or without?

I'm so use to everything being in EST that when it was said that the P&R part starts for 3:30, I was expecting it to be going on right now since I'm in CST, lol. I came on looking for updates but this thread only had like 10 more posts then last time I was on a few hours ago and I was freaking out, haha.

Don't feel bad...I agreed to go to a SINGLE A minor league baseball game tonight during the P&R presentation because I forgot that not everyone is in the Eastern time zone. Looks like I'll be updating via my iPhone during the game.

(At least I have a spiffy update box on my site that will assist with that--what do you guys think of it?!)

Pretty sweet! Looking forward to seeing it full of info.

Amypooh,

The image of the train in circusland that you are referring to is "Casey Junior" from Dumbo. He will be a little water, splash area for little kids in the circusland. They have the train cars behind it with elephant trunks sticking out. Supposedly the animals in the train cars will squirt water.

I read that on the recent Fantasyland Expansion News blog here.

Please check it out!

Anyone have a link to a pic of the new train station part of the model? Every video I have seen manages to miss that part of the FLE. :brick:

Not totally parks-related, but reports are coming in that the hands-on Disneyland Kinect game is pretty awesome. I'm a bit surprised, but really pleased about that!

I received my new copy of Game Informer yesterday and in their E3 section they had favorable reports of this game and also one called (I believe) Disney Universe. Has me very excited!

Tom, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your blog. I really like your take on the parks and the great photography. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

^Thanks!

Stay tuned for more updates today. Already there is a line of 500-750 (approximately) people waiting to get into the Convention Center. Light attendance? HA!

On Friday evening Disney officially announced that all Expo tickets for Saturday were now SOLD OUT.

Do not attempt to get to the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday unless you already have tickets for the Expo. There are still tickets available for Sunday, but the smart thing to do is purchase them today while they are still available.

I already bought my ticket for Sunday on Friday afternoon, and it was surprising to see so many crowds and the Anaheim Police out controlling the traffic on the surface streets leading to the convention center. Attendance appears to be way up for this Expo, compared to 2009.

I am quite certain people were and are expecting a repeat of the magical annoncements in 2009. There were rumors that they may not continue the Expo's. And the way this is going so far I'd say that may be a safe bet. Because I can't imagine too many folks will travel to the next Expo if this is the new norm. :snore:

Perhaps they should try Orlando in 2013. :)

If this is the new norm, they will have a hard time selling out in 2013, if there is an Expo in 2013... Disney is going to have to really WOW everyone today and tomorrow to make 2013's Expo viable...

Regardless of the lack of an announcement for WDW, the presentation was boring... Completely lackluster... Even the DLR announcement for Fairytale Faire was very monotrone and blah... Really seemed like there was no excitement radiating from management...

Exactly my point. Makes you wonder if Disney is worried about the economy.

I guess you guys and I have been following different D23 Expos. Was the Shanghai Castle not impressive? The updates to the DCA progress? Disney is undergoing its most aggressive worldwide expansion EVER right now. You can't just grow grow grow constantly. Slowing down announcements was inevitable. Now, I do agree that Florida was largely overlooked last night, but as far as the business of Disney is concerned, growth is needed elsewhere to make the other worldwide parks vacation destinations that can capture tourist dollars.

Attendance-wise, I think it has been a rousing success given the photos and reports I've seen/heard. Anaheim is the only logical place to hold this conference. Why are people on this site so reluctant to travel to California? Afraid of hippies and beach bums?
