Early in the show, Billy played “She’s Got a Way”, and Mike grabbed my hand and held on to it. At the end of the song, he kissed my hand, but continued to hold on to it for three more songs.

Talking about it back in the room, I learn that song is the Meatloaf equivalent for him. Who knew?

I am not queuing up for the subway, so we hoofed it the 22 blocks back.

Mikey stopped for 99 cent pizza to go with yesterday’s leftovers.

I would not let him eat any until I had taken a photo.
Does that sound like me?

Do you know where the pizza place was? I mean, there might be 100 little places to get a cheap slice of pizza, but when I was there with choir, we were having rehearsal at this church near Park Ave. We got an hour for lunch, but we had no transportation, so we had to find someplace within walking distance of Park Avenue in NYC that was cheap enough to afford on a college student budget. We found this great little pizza place that had pizza that looked just like this....it was so greasy and SO good! I could feel my arteries clogging with every bite, but man was it worth it. And I don't even know the name of it...I wonder if it's still there. Did Mike enjoy it?

Broadway, between 54th and 55th. Literally called “99 Cent Pizza”.

We’ve had it before when we here in December. I don’t even like pizza, and I thought it was pretty good.

The Chrysler Building.

We are currently sitting in the shade in Bryant Park at lunch hour. The place is shockingly packed! 😂

There is a lot of empty retail space on the lower level.

And this totally incongruent little business, seemingly tucked in under the stairs.

Hope you ladies (and Mike) are having a great time - enjoy the show!
It was amazing, and as much as Mike didn’t want to, he thoroughly enjoyed it.

The technical aspects were amazing, the singing was wonderful, Olaf looked and sounded EXACTLY like Josh Gad, and Hans was yummy.

The only irksome aspect was the three ladies directly in front of us, who each arrived individually late, and proceeded to text, email, and FB through the entire first half.

Somebody set them straight during the intermission. Might have been me. Not saying it was, but it might have been.

For the record, I did not even pull my phone out during intermission. Mike took the time to stand and stretch his legs. Aisle or no aisle, it was a tight squeeze. Like 7 Dwarf Mine Train tight.

It was a wonderful show, and I am very grateful to @NYwdwfan for spending the day with us, for the tickets, and for the prezzies.

Texting back and forth with @NYwdwfan for a few minutes, we knew we within blocks of each other, when I heard a voice call out my name.

And there she was, in the middle of an intersection. I hopped in the backseat ‘cause I’m fast. Mike had to run half a block after us to catch up.

Time to kill before lunch, so we did our “gift exchange” and then went to a pub to kill some time. We were on the roof top patio, and in the shade, it was quite lovely.

The two non non-carbers split some nachos.
