I thought the trailer for Snow White looked good. As a previous poster said, it appears to have all the main elements of the original.

I know others disagree, but I love live-action versions of Disney movies.

One thing I'm curious about is the role of the love interest. The prince was in the original film for an exceedingly short time.

Going from a very short film to a longer, live-action version is going to be interesting in and of itself. Characters are going to have to be expanded.

Perhaps they can be coaxed into going by reading her subsequent apology. Forgiveness and all that.

Do we really think it matters? I doubt that there are many who won't view this as a pr play only. With the amount of hate that's been thrown around since the election has ended, I doubt any of the people she insulted would think she serious. Let's just be real the left isn't forgiving the right and the right isn't the left with these types of situations in my opinion.

Her post wasn’t denying the Holocaust. Rather, she was comparing the treatment of her own political community to that of the Jews under Nazism.

Thank you for the reminder/clarification. It had been so long, I didn’t even remember what she said. I took an inference from another post and apparently misconstrued it. (I also can’t see many poster’s comments.)

We do know that the public vitriol of one of the actresses has expressed will be detrimental to how the public will receive anything she appears in going forward.

Not “the public,” just certain people - mostly the same people who were already upset with her last year.

How would you interpret her post? Here it is quoted exactly:

How is she not comparing the treatment of her own political community to that of the Jews under Nazism? What do you understand her final sentence to be saying?

That’s interesting, because I would expect comparisons like that (although pre-Holocaust) from groups on the left - saying that certain people are seeding the country with hate against particular minorities the way Nazis did leading up to the eventual Holocaust.

I was in a cruise ship cocktail lounge yesterday evening when someone brought up this latest Miss Zegler topic in conversation with a random group of friends who had only known each other since the second day of the cruise. I was shown her original Tweet, then nearly laughed my butt off the barstool thinking of this forum. Needless to say, based on the opinions of random lounge guests talking about this instead of our next port excursions, Disney still needs to worry about its upcoming Snow White release this March.

They sent this movie back for 15 months of reworking the last time Miss Zegler let her opinions be known to the world. What does this do this time? Maybe a 2027 release date now?
