Well, that certainly adds to the fun.

So, apparently Disney only hired one actor with dwarfism to be cloned via CGI to play all seven dwarves now that dwarves are suddenly back in style? That seems.... odd. And yet for this particular saga, somehow it's not surprising.

It's difficult to disagree. If you're going to retain the dwarfs, why wouldn't you have real-life actors play them?

Who knows, but Klebba was part of the film since it appears the beginning or certainly earlier than that leaked photo.

None, just as there is no basis for claims that the leaked photo was the "seven magical creatures" either which now seems all but debunked. As Klebba himself announced he was playing Grumpy back in 2022, which appears no one really picked up on until now.

The wording is odd with Klebbas comments, he said:

"I just got done filming Snow White. It's going to be coming out late next year. And, of course, I play Grumpy. Gal Gadot is our witch, and Rachel Zegler will be our Snow White. So, come on down, it'll be a good time."

If the dwarves were always intended to be CG why wouldn’t he say was voicing Grumpy rather than saying specifically he’s playing Grumpy and also specify his filming was complete?

Sounds like he was meant to be a live action Grumpy.

Klebba's presence in the cast—as a single dwarf—was certainly acknowledged and discussed. You'll notice he announced he'd be playing Grumpy, not all seven dwarfs.

I also can’t tell if it’s Klebbas in the leaked photo, the only little person has long hair and a beard and Klebbas is normally bald and clean faced. Could also be a stand in wearing his intended costume.

That was last year when he stated that, so obviously thing could have changed from the time he made the statement to now. Most just became outraged that Disney was replacing dwarfs in the movie with a band of Seattle Apple pickers, again not mentioning that Klebba was actually cast as one.

So its at least plausible that he was hired originally for one part, and end up playing the rest by the time filming completed. And I will say its also plausible this change could have happened recently, or even earlier this year. Again we just don't know the timeline. Its also plausible that screenrant is also jumping the gun and assuming its all Klebba being used for the CG modeling.

Too much assumption going on without actual inside info before an actual trailer is released.

And Grumpy is normally bald too.

The stand-in looks more like Brad Williams to me than Kleeba.

Snow is in the zoomed out photo also, which I think we all took for Snow, the new Prince character, and the 7 dwarfs.

We have no way of knowing if the actor in that photo is meant to be Klebba's stand-in or relates to another character.

In any case, I've never drawn too many conclusions from the leaked production photos. They aren't the main basis of my assumption that the film was not going to feature the Seven Dwarfs in their traditional form.
