Littlekitten's Monstrous Trip Report

Well hi folks, this is my first ever attempt at a TR so you'll have to bear with me if I get anything wrong . So sitting here by the pool, at our fab villa, writing this as everyone else is asleep!!!

Yesterday was our first full day here, and so we headed out at 7am in search of some sustenance, we decided to head up to the Golden Corral at little lake Bryan, and as always it didn't disappoint.

From there we headed up to Florida Mall, for a little bit of retail therapy, my 10 year old and 13 year old had money burning holes in there pockets . So my son brought his 1st pair of Oakleys,
and my daughter hit te make-up and Aeropostale, old navy, and a&f and ..... You lot know the score.

Then we stop for a quick bite at Charleys, and then headed back to the villa for a quick swim in the pool.

In all the years we have driven down there we have yet to hit any of the local shopping malls, Oakley huh? I am afraid to tell my husband this....he is in love with his pair...

I am sorry to hear your family is sick, I hope everyone is much better now.

The malls are great you must try and get to one Florida Mall is awesome something for everyone including Hubby loving Oakleys wearers!!! lol I will be writing more tomorrow. I must, of course convincing the hubs. lol....

Oh the photos are always the biggest issues I can never get them small enough so oh well, I figure everyone has to just put up with my confusion...but take your time and enjoy the first report is always the toughest to figure out half the time!

So

DAY 3 - 25th May

Well we were all up at 7am!!! (some of us much earlier lol ).

Packed the bag for the day, like to take drinks with us. And off we go.

Headed of to Ihop for a quick breakfast which was really lovely btw, think i had eggs benedict? will consult the oracle later (DH) and confirm lol. Then we headed off to Seaworld.

Got to seaworld did priority parking as my m-i-law can't walk to far. Went on Manta which was empty (got on twice) and then went around to do the highly acclaimed Antartica!!! And oh boy were we disappointed!!! Having been bombarded by hype for the last six months or so, well I'm so glad we were choosen to go in a special line cause if I'd have waited 2 1/2hrs to go on it I think i'd have been quite cross!!!

However the penguin exhibit at the end is good, but the ride is awful!!! Needless to say wont be doing it again.

We then went and rode Atlantis twice and my DD went on Kraken.

By this time it was lunch time so we decided to leave on our way back to the entrance got this great shot of Manta broken dow at a very unfortunate point of the ride, felt ever so sorry for the riders.

But we decided go and have lunch at Johnny Rockets at The Loop which has the 2ns best Chilli fries next to Steak n' Shake!!!

Then we went home to get ready for date night.

DATE NIGHT Numero Uno

We headed out from the villa to DTD for our reservations at Fultons, arrived in what we thought was plenty of time, but forgeting it was Memorial Weekend didnt plan for the packed car park.

We made it to the restaurant in time though and were seated in the front of the boat in the bar section, which i have to say was is our favourite place, looking out over the lake.
Our waiter was an absolute legend he was so, so funny and had my husband and I in absolute stiches.

The food was sublime, we both had Portabella Mushroom fries to start(actually I started with a fresh raspberry martini mmmm) followed by Snow Crab for me and the Medley of fish for him.

We decided not to have pudding at Fultons but wait and try the new Boloungerie in France at Epcot .

So paid the bill and headed back to the car and drove over to Epcot. Had some wonderful pictures of me and him taken on our photopass, just waiting for the cd to come. Then we headed on to worldshowcase taking in the sights and sounds of Canada and England on the way to France to try by most hallowed of reccommendations of @figmentfan423 and @real mad hatter and @MR FERRET
The wonderful delights that are the citron grey goose slushies, I had 1 citron and 1 Pink ,

to go with our dessert from Halles OH MY, people you have to go and try them they are AWESOME .

I closely followed those 2 with 1 more while watching illuminations (thanking the above people for their advice) we then walked back and DH took this picture of me and the monsters.

I then decided to spend an obscene amount of money in Mouse Gears while feeling slightly slushed . We then headed back to bed and you know what slept really soundly.

Yes but I thought that was for the hangover In the morning, and btw now I've had 100% Kona nothing else will do and I don't even like coffee!! Lol

Have to admit I thought i was gonna have one but too my pleasant suprise nada, none, not a sausage And the Kona is awesome, even ended up bringing a bag home!!
