Littlekitten's Monstrous Trip Report

Well hi folks, this is my first ever attempt at a TR so you'll have to bear with me if I get anything wrong . So sitting here by the pool, at our fab villa, writing this as everyone else is asleep!!!

Yesterday was our first full day here, and so we headed out at 7am in search of some sustenance, we decided to head up to the Golden Corral at little lake Bryan, and as always it didn't disappoint.

From there we headed up to Florida Mall, for a little bit of retail therapy, my 10 year old and 13 year old had money burning holes in there pockets . So my son brought his 1st pair of Oakleys,
and my daughter hit te make-up and Aeropostale, old navy, and a&f and ..... You lot know the score.

Then we stop for a quick bite at Charleys, and then headed back to the villa for a quick swim in the pool.

Heading in to Germany we restrained ourselves, instead of rushing into the sweetie shop, we calmly walked around the shops looking at all the lovely christmas decorations and tankards and such, deciding not to buy the christmas decorations as we are actually going to Essen, Germany at the end November beginning December this year and we will probably get some there. Did take some nice pictures of the Steins and Goblets though.

Okay so enough with the souveniers Karamell Kulche couldnt resist any longer, we brought a big bag of caramel popcorn for m-in-l as she hadnt come today and it is her favourite. I had a chocolate covered caramel square, see below, Ethan and Jordan shared a caramel filled chocolate cookie and Darren had a caramel and marshmallow swirl, oh so so so good,but so sickly and sweet wanted more but 1 really was enough. Lol We sat and ate these outside the shop in the sun thinking life just doesnt get any better

Day 6 - 28th May

EPCOT

So as a suprise we took the kids back to Kona for breakfast

Ethan and

Jordan were suitably impressed, think this is fast becoming the breakfast spot to go!!
It was just as fabulous as last time everyone had tonga toast apart from me I had the big kahuna again as i'm greedy apparently but I honestly was just really hungry

On the way out we had a look at the take-away counter:

But as lovely as they all are we decided we were too full!!!

Off to the monorail where we went back to the TTC and took the Epcot Monorail Loop which again was a 1st for us and went round to EPcot, with me filming all the way!!

When we got to Epcot I jumped off and took some pics of SSE

And then we went down and waited in the line to get in.
First up we did SSE as we have never done this before I know WHAT!!! I hear you cry, but when we've been before the line has always been huge and yada yada, so today we bite the bullet and really enjoyed the experience. I got so really good photos inside as well

Won't bore your with anymor , but I really enjoyed it. After that we headed over to The Land and did Soarin', DH sat out as he gets vertigo and although he did it the last time we were here it made him feel sick so abstained this time.
Whne we had come out it was snack time so made a beeline for Sunshine Seasons where we shared a couple of desserts.

Throughly enjoyed both of them, refreshed we headed out into the heat again and headed for Nemo after a long line we got on and I decided that I would video the ride again so we could watch whenever we wanted. It was cool as usual. Then we went upstairs and looked at the big tanks.

Headed outside and decided that it was Test Track time it was me and DS together and DH and DD on the other team unfortunately although we beat them in 3 out of the 5 catagories they still beat us over all not fair at all but thems the breaks. We had a great time and although I prefer the old one this one is still very entertaining.

Heading out again we decided to hit the Character spot and meet some characters. Got a good soaking as the fountain was going as we walked/ran past. We saw Pluto, Mickey, and Minnie and they were so great Pluto was an absolute card, he was so funny and it was me he was mucking about with not the kids which was a very magical moment for me.

We then headed up to the World Showcase were we stopped and had our Pictures taken with a photpass photographer. They looked smashing, and after that grabbed a Perry phone and headed to Mexico.....

Oh my goodness! Both of those look AMAZING. Going on my must try list!

You must try they are really delicious, very moorish to but really one is enough very sickly. But oh my yum yum yum.

Those look unbelievably fantastic. In my humble opinion, they need to make KK a fastpass shop or double its size. The lines we saw were crazy long.

Apologies for the gap had an absolutely manic weekend.

After our dip in the pool and a change of clothes we headed out for a early dinner at TGI's and the we shot of to MK. We arrived quite early so we decided to take advantage and head of to Tomorrowland and do BLSRS which is my DS's favourite ride next to TSMM, and then we headed on over to SM where just me and the kids rode. After that we split up, Ethan and I went on Astro Orbiter and DH,DD and the m-in-l went on the TA.

Once Ethan and I had finished on the Astro Orbiter we had some time to kill so we wandered over to the dance party that was happening and had a boogie with Goofy and Stitch and a few others it was really good fun and the DJ was superb. The others caught up with us when they saw us dancing on the big screen!!! They thought they'd lost us

We then decided it was time for an Ice-cream to we headed to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor where we all had sundaes which where so delicous, but it was so hot they didnt last long. We walked down Main Street with our goodies looking for a good place to stand to watch MSEP, and my DS started having a little moan and such, he'd been so good all day, anyway a CM over heard and put us in a special area opposite the Town Hall so we could watch teh parade it was great got some awesome photos of a parade we've never seen

My favourite bit of the whole parade was right at the end when they brought forth the massive flag and eagle it was really magnificant. I was in awe.

After the parade had finished we move into the centre of the area and took root so we could watch wishes. It was extremely busy

as you can see.

However standing waithing has its advantages, Ethan and I sat on the railings and next to us was a family from Tampa, here on a four day break with their little ones who Ethan struck up a firm friendship with their son Issac they had a ball. I was even able to slip away and buy Jordan some jewellary as it was her birthday the following day. When I got back they had decided they were friends for life.

Then wishes started and it was a magical as ever, and made me cry as usual. Halfway through my DH and m-in-law and DD decided as there were so many people they were going to head back early to the car and Me and DS were to come on afterwards. Unfortunately the best made plans fail and the monorail broke down just as they got on it and the whole system shutdown. It was utter bedlam I have never seen so many people trying to get on a ferry boa in all my life!!!

While we were waiting in the line for the boat which was right back to the entrance turnstiless. We met back up with Issac and his family, so we all got the Ferryboat together and got this cute picture of Ethan and Issac on the boat home.

We were so tired, we staggered back to the car and went straight home to bed.

had to be up early again in the morning as it was Jordan our darling DD's 14th Birthday!!!

Day 7 - 29th May - Jordans Birthday

Up and at em' early this morning as we had lots to do!!! Jordan opened her pressies this morning, we had brought all her cards and gifts from home she ended up loads of dollars and a beautiful set of disney jewellary from her brother. Off we went to breakfast, Jordan had asked to go to Market Street Cafe in Celebration, it was ok, nothing to right home about, back to Magic Kingdom we went. The weather didnt look too promising but we carried on anyway. Made it to the TTC and boarded the monorail to MK and then as we were pulling out of the station the heavens opened, OMG I have never seen so much rain, it was just like someone had turned on the power shower and said there you go!!!!! When we got to MK and got off the monorail, we waited in the station for a while as it was torrential. Jordan was getting really upset as it was her birthday and we promised we'd do MK, so..... down the exit ramp we slid and ran through bag check and through the turnstiles and over to stroller rental where we preceeded to buy 5 slickers.

Donning said slickers, we were off, we had saved doing new Fantasyland for her birthday so we headed straight there.

We hit the Little Mermaid ride, which IMHO is awesome!!! Jordan was entranced.

When we'd come out it had stopped raining so hard, so we headed of to meet Ariel in her grotto

We headed on over to Pete's Silly Sideshow and was asked ny the CM who we wanted to see, duh all of them we said!!! Jordan decided she wanted to see Minnie and Daisy first, so off we went to stand in line at least it wasn;t raining!!!

So with books signed and hearts full we headed out and back in to see Donald and Goofy. And oh my they were wonderful. Goofy was 1st in line and when he saw that Jordan's birthday button the antics began. He took her book and signed it as normal but in it he wrote Goofy #1 and told is handler to take i over to Donald who was with someone else at the time, Donald then came ove and he and Goofy then had a pretend fight and were pushing and pulling Jordan from one to the other to see which one could have her first. OMG it was so funny my sides hurt from laughing so much!! It ended up with Donald stomping back off to his area and goofy just roaring with laughter. We then had all our photos taken and then Goofy got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! Oh my we had such a great time the characters that day were awesome!!!

It was the most magical time ever!!!

After all that excitement we went into the big store next door to have a look at all the goodies. Then went on the Barnstormer, just as good as I remembered.

then the Heavens opened again.
And we decided that we would go and have ome lunch. Jordan asked if we could head over to Florida Mall as at least it was indoors and after all she had $$$$ signs in her eyes and it was burning a hole in her pocketbook.

After a great deal of retail therapy we headed home and got changed for Jordans birthday mealat Rainforest CAfe in DTD

As happy as we look, it was one of the worst meals I have ever had on property. The food was awful, the service rubbish and very very expensive!! we have eaten here before and it has always been alright, we werent the only ones looking abashed etiher!! Needless to say we wont be eaten here again.

Once we had finished we headed off for a lovely walk around DTD. Spent too much money again and then headed off home for a well deserved sleep.
