don't worry, we won't have that refurb until 2015I love this ride as well, and I'll be upset if it's closed for my October trip.

But sometimes they have to close attractions to make them better...I would rather have it close and reopen as something much much better than it is...wouldn't you? there is SOMEBODY out there with plans to visit the park at almost every day of the year... you cant fix anything and still keep everyone happy.I love this ride as well, and I'll be upset if it's closed for my October trip.

Never say never but not for a while. There are no plans to bring this refurb over to our version of the attraction at the moment. Not a single person has stated it's coming our way.

Spirit did indeed confirm we were going to get BTM's upgraded effects
I believe it when it happens knowing tdo probably 20 years from now.Never say never but not for a while.
On Paradise Pier, the Little Mermaid attraction is wrapping up its refurbishment and will reopen by the end of next week. The enhancements you’ll see when the ride reopens include a black light-based re-Imagining of the “Under the Sea” room and another new hairdo for Ariel in that scene. Plans to rework the ending of the attraction didn’t make it through this refurbishment but are still expected to come at a later date.
At least they said the ending will be reworked at some point. It seems like the updates for DCA's ride will not be as extensive as previously rumored. This is what today's article on MiceChat states:

Exactly, look at all the rides over there that have updates that our rides never get.Agree, the black light based redo of the Under the Sea room sounds good, would like to see that happen here as well. Sooner, and not another decade or more. They will keep pushing it back till it just doesnt happen.

When it comes to Disney, these are good words to live by.Never say never but not for a while.
