Little mermaid ride video!!

I have ridden the DCA version 3 times now. I wait until WoC is playing and then the lines are much shorter. I wouldn't wait more than 15 minutes for this ride.

While the ride is similar to the other Fantasyland dark rides, it does seem more modern and detailed.
There is some great lighting when you go under water and come back up to land.
The ending with Triton's trident lighting up and fireworks is nicely done.
The ice cream cone hair is even worse in person.
There are many great details in the queue like the seaweed lighting fixture and the sea urchin pole toppers.
I detest clones, so I hope that the MK version has differences even if they are slight.

The track layout and showrooms of this ride are already baked in for the Magic Kingdom version opening late next year, and it is a direct clone of the DCA version. But it would be nice if they did a little tweaking for Magic Kingdom, maybe moved a few animatronics around a bit or propped out a scene or two a bit differently. Not sure that they would bother though, since the two rides are designed to be identical from the loading belt to the unloading belt.

I am looking forward to seeing the exterior at Magic Kingdom though, and to see how they handle that huge Standby queue they are building since the MK version will have Fastpass.

That was pretty cool. Ursela looks awesome. I can't wait to see this in Florida. I am disappointed that there was no battle with Ursela in the end. I love that part in the movie.

This was the disappointing part. They just skip that whole part of the story.
