Accidents do happen. The apology was sufficient.
Yup... BUT.... We all know how this is going to turn out....Accidents do happen. The apology was sufficient.
I want the time date stamp from the recording. It will prove when the video was shot. I have a lot of trouble believing any type of news media. They open their mouths before they have all the facts. I will bet money Disney responded immediately to the accident, especially one involving a cast member
I do, but they are 37 and 39 now, but, they were young once. Maybe they picked up my viewpoint that I have yet to find anything scary at WDW. Even though I can get into "suspension of dis-belief" there is just so far that I can take it before it becomes just a show. Back in the day when they were young 6 & 8 nothing seemed to phase my girls at all. Went to everything, never heard a sound or mention of fear.
...Had this happened anywhere else it wouldn't have been a big deal. Like I said...folks expect Disney to be outside the laws of nature and reality. Kudos to them for being so good at what they do that folks feel that way, but guests need to still realize that s%$t happens (everywhere).
Imagine that! Maybe the world would be a kinder place if we treated each other with compassion instead of getting all on our high horses all of the time.
And thanks for the pile on from additional people, that was lovely.
Read back through my posts, you'll see I always concede points when I was wrong. I have a very gentle posting style. It takes a lot for me to snap back at someone's nasty posts, but I'm not stupid either and I know when I am being put down.
First off...she is a he! Second, if you want to take what I said as an indication of YOUR parenting ability or even mine for that matter, you are digging pretty deep. All I said was for some reason they didn't seem to be afraid of anything. I didn't teach them that. It was a natural thing to them. And I said, Maybe they picked up on my viewpoint that nothing in Disney is scary. Now if you can dissect that enough to get out of it that I thought your parenting abilities were not as good as mine, well you have a more vivid imagination then I do. So, to be gracious, like yourself, I will apologize if you misinterpreted what I said, because it REALLY is no big deal.Violet said: ↑
It wasn't a little scare. Do you have kids?
Here is her response:
So it was something she did as a mother, "my viewpoint that I have yet to find anything scary at WDW" that made her kids allegedly not be scared of anything, 30 years ago. So I guess I did something wrong that Stitch scared the carp out of my kid instead of the fact that the ride IS scary. Maybe I didn't project a positive-enough viewpoint.
Again, all could have been avoided with a simple apology, sorry you interpreted my comment like that, no big deal.
Deleted because people are experts on everything.
So I guess I did something wrong that Stitch scared the carp out of my kid instead of the fact that the ride IS scary.
How would a vegetarian have chilli breath?Stitch is a vegetarian. He would never want your daughter's fish.
Vegetarian chili. Leave out the meat, add more veggies. Not for me but vegetarians can have almost anything nowadays. How would a vegetarian have chilli breath?
