Comming to Universal's Islands of Adventure in 2016: The Hunger Games Adventure taking place of Toon Lagoon!
Also coming to the Hunger Games Adventure is an all new flume ride, that takes you into the vast lake of blood spilled by those poor dead teenagers. Replacing Dudley Do Rights Ripsaw Falls. :) P.S. Barf Bags included in front and back of the flume. :p

Ummm...I call False...how the heck do you present that to kids?

"Oh hi! Come on in...everyone to the center of the room...take these weapons and kill each other!"

Merchandising nightmare. I can just imagine some ed off teenage girl having a melt down while wielding her recently purchased "Hunger Games Bow and Arrow" set.

While the films/books are about "people killing each other" many other theme parks attractions are also based on stories with the same - either people killing each other or things killing people. A Hunger games attraction does not have to be a miniland (although it could be) a stunt show, a ride like Spiderman could work too or a coaster. Harry Potter in US is set in the 4th book at this point Harry has only had Voldemort attempt to kill him 3 times! It's not all sunshine and lollipops in Harry's world or any Disney based movie ride either. With the right project and people behind it - it could be good.

Yeah, and there's a lot of killing in Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

True, but they're not primarily about teenagers killing each other.
It's a bit hard to sell a theme park on a fictional property whose primary subject matter is pretty much the same as a school shooting.

Those involve sides of good and evil. The Hunger Games are, at this point in the film series, still about the battle royale.

President Snow is evil. Starting with the second movie/book Snow is trying to destroy Katiness and the rebellion she inadvertently started without making her a martyr.

Sounds like Iger is trying to make all of WDW into Panem, just without the rich Capitol... as it appears WDW is headed for Dark Days...
