Liberty Tree Tavern is going to be closed from Jul. 6 - Nov. 20, 2015 for a refurbishment. Just a heads up to anyone who enjoys dining there.

It's true and comes directly from Disney. There is always a chance that things could be cancelled, but it's not speculation, it's announced.

The real question is: what are they doing? It takes less time to build out the interior of a new restaurant, let alone refurbish the interior of an existing one.

that's my first thought as well. The kitchen is probably original to the building so an extensive refurbishment is likely in order. In addition to this they will likely make ADA upgrades and move a few things around for better cast/guest flow. Perhaps they will throw in a restroom referb for good measure.

Good! I hope they fix the plumbing. It has a very authentic 1700s aroma to it. Maybe they need to do some ADA compliance while they are at it?

Yeah. My money is on ADA. Current setup for access is really awkward for Guests who cannot transfer.
