Guys?

The next couple of months I won't be much around on WDWMagic...

This morning my wife Karen has been diagnosed with breast cancer in her right breast... and getting surgery on oktober 9...

She's very sad and keeps on crying... matter of fact so am I...

We don't know what to do... just running around doing nothing...

She needs your prayers... She didn't deserve this (who does)

We're thinking of moving back to Burbank, she always loved Burbank

((HUGS)) to both of you.

Of course a diagnosis of cancer is a shock and you are right, nobody deserves that, but it is not an immediate end. There are so many treatment options and her doctors will find the one that is best for her.
Let her cry (you too) for a bit, but then get back to the task...taking care of this thing. If moving will bring you closer to the best treatment then do so, but don't cut off family and friends as they will be vital to recovery...ask for help if you need it, I'm sure you will find that everyone is more than willing to help out.

I know you love your wife dearly so I really don't have to tell you this, but I will anyway...Be there for her. Hold her, cry with her and make sure she does all she needs to do to beat this. And don't forget to take care of yourself in the meantime.

Remember, we are always here for you if you need to get things off your chest, but we want to hear the good too, ok?

I Agree with TigsMom. Take time to get yourselves past the grief process and the shock of it, then get to work to find out the best treatments and options for your wife. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you during this difficult time!!! Belle

You'll be missed, but your family always comes first. Just know that there are people here who care and we'll be here if you need a sounding board or a virtual shoulder to cry on.

Prayers headed your way.

Stay strong, keep positive and try not to let the "C" word scare you. Breast cancer is among the most treatable forms, and with recent advances, her outlook should be very good.

awww, blast it to heck.

This is rotten news, old man, but take heart. She can beat this and continue to have a wonderful life. Advances in medicine and the power of prayer are a great combination - this I know from the long list of friends and business acquaintances who've suffered similar unwelcome news in recent years.

We care about Mrs. Corrus, and will offer prayers and support. You may find you have more time to come around and post updates on her progress and treatments, and we will welcome any information you feel like sharing. We are here for you both.

Yes, this is a little community of people who share an interest in a special place and in our forum friends with whom we have formed these bonds of friendship.

You don't know me, I know, but I have come to know you a little through your contributions here - for better and worse. I have already said a little prayer for Mrs. Corrus and for you, pal, and will continue to do so as you face the uncertain days ahead.

Best of luck.
