Sounds like you're getting a lot done at home Jenn. When you finish with that, you can start on my basement....Hello Betty! DH is picking the kiddos up, so I'm waiting on them to get home.

That's pretty much what I have to do here....'kay...then you can come clean my furniture, wash my windows, clean out my kitchen cabinets, and go through 30+ years of pictures for me. :animwink:
That's pretty much what I have to do here....
Sometimes I wish I could just chuck it all and start all over again.....
Popular lady!Man I have a lot of emails to go through.:dazzle:
Yeah I'd keep the pics, but the furniture, the appliances (except for my stove), the wardrobe, etc., wouldn't it be nice....Except for the pictures....although after being here for three years, I'm FINALLY feeling we're settled. Besides, as hard as the kids are on my furniture, I might as well keep what I have till it collapses on them.![]()

Is he getting too distracted at lunch time?I'm here Betty - the kids arrived home meantime; I don't think Joel ate lunch today. They told Mike he had several cups of water at snacktime and ate all his popsicle.
oh no. What do you think is causing him not to eat?I'm here Betty - the kids arrived home meantime; I don't think Joel ate lunch today. They told Mike he had several cups of water at snacktime and ate all his popsicle.

We always had that problem with the pastor's oldest. She never ate her lunch, or at most would eat a dessert. If it dosn't change, youmight want to ask if an aide can go to the cafeteria early withhim, get his lunch out in front of him, and maybe sit him at a smaller table with just a few kids. Processing all that is really difficult for an autistic child.I talked to his teacher this morning - she said lunch is an adjustment, because he has to get used to the noise, and sitting close to others, and it does take the kiddos time. I can only guess he is so busy looking around trying to process it all, that he forgets to eat. They try to get him there asap so he can have maximum amount of time in the cafeteria. They only give the kids 20 minutes to get the food (if they're buying) and eat, then they go out to recess. And today I had him buy for the first time, as they had cheesy breadsticks, which I thought he would like. I'm just going to wait and see, and if things don't improve, I'll go in at lunchtime and try to observe out of sight. If he sees me, it'll be a distraction.
