KUNGALOOSH! I went to the Adventurer's Club and...

The club hours are essentially the same year round. The management/cast does have the option to extend each night by about half an hour by adding the "Maid's Sing-along" in the Library. The determination of whether this show will take place happens on a nightly basis, based upon how busy the club is. On those nights, the Maid's show starts at midnight and the Hoopla begins at around 12:30.

In my experience they have never extended beyond this framework.

Thanks for the info! I'm going for Halloween this year- can't wait!

One time I inadvertantly got caught up into the Maid's Treasure Room Show. I was standing near the doorway because I got there late, and when Beezil showed up, I kind of forgot myself and waved to him. He noted that he could not wave to me, so instead he opened his mouth and flicked his tongue at me several times. For the rest of the show, he called me "the drunk guy in the back of the room" At the time, I didn't realize that Beezil ad-libs in the show. But it definitely made me feel somewhat special that I was recognized. :ROFLOL:

Another stellar night at the club tonight.

It was one of the funniest (and "adult themed") Hooplas I've seen in quite a while.

Pamelia was singing "Old MacDonald's Farm" when she asked a very inocuous looking gentleman for an animal for the farm. He responded with P . . well, let's just say kitty cat.

The cast just ran with it from there, and we all laughed uproariously.

Then Emil Bleehal went on to do his number and a group of obnoxious college girls kept shouting and interrupting him. He let them have it! I can't repeat any of the things that he said to those girls, but OUCH! I wouldn't be suprised if he actually drew blood.

It was SO funny!

Was there a haystack on Old McDonald's Farm last night? That's my favorite one!!

I really can't wait to get back to the World and be at the AC every night. And the next time I go I will finally be able to drink things other than virgin daquiris and pina coladas, haha. Responsibly, of course ;). KUNGALOOSH!

The Adventurers Club is a riot!!! I first went with my husband and teenaged kids - I loved it, our son thought it was hilarious, our daughter was less thrilled, and my husband didn't see the point at all. :ROFLOL: I think how much you enjoy the place depends on your individual sense of humor.

There is never anything more funny then when the cast losses it and can't get it back on track. When they start to laugh at the jokes that really means they are having fun and it comes across.

I love the people who think they are more funny then the cast...espically when the cast goes off on them. I have seen people almost stand up and get in a CM face cause they were so PO'ed that they were the butt of the joke.

I'll be the first to admit, I tried to go up against a certain Otis T. Wren one night and got BURNED. I wasn't too happy about it, but I got over it :)
