This is just a random thought. If, in a few years guest start to get tired of this attraction, anyone have any ideas of there own as to what could replace it and not have the need to tare down those great seating grandstands? It was fun to see the first 3 or 4 times, but I usually pass on it any more and was just wondering what cool ideas any other members may have as a replacement using the same footprint? Just a thought.:shrug::shrug:

Once was more than enough for me. I was thinking they should beef up the Backlot Tour and have the tram make its way through the area while stunts by famous movie cars occur around you. Of course, they would have to tear out the bleachers (no loss) and make the whole thing look like a European city, but at least this way the Tour gets a nice improvement, some of its original land back, and a dull, sunburn-causing attraction gets converted into something useful.

Couldn't they easily redo the cars to look like the characters from 'Cars'?

You could have like a mini musical with the 'cars'

Still have tons of action but also some family friendly animatronic/car fun too!

Once was enough for me also. Saw it for the first time last August and have no plans to see it again. It was mildly interesting but it was way too dragged out for my tastes.

Ditto that once was enough - I don't think it'll go anywhere for a while. But they could use that arena for so many things, and probably will, in the future. They won't waste the stadium seating.

Same here once was enough, plus I had to drag my sister who was not interested in seeing it. It would be awesome if they would expand on the backlot tour, or put another attraction in it's place. They would have a ton of room if they tear down the bleachers.

I agree with all of you...Don't get me wrong, it was a cool show but to wait and wait and sit around for it to even begin isn't really worth going back again and again. Its great for first timers.

I am with you all on this one. The first time was good, but it gets old when the "surprise factor" is gone. Plus, if you are in the park on a hot day - that theater can be miserable with little shade.

No offense to all of you who weren't thrilled with LMA but I doubt that the crowds for this show are going to dwindle as much as you think.

I for one love the show (but that is beside the point).

Look at the shows that have been going on forever, Indiana Jones, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast. They still pull in big crowds.

It is more likely that they will retheme it to go with a popular Disney movie than remove it.

I think if something is going to be removed and redone it is more likely the backlot tour. They seem to be doing everything they can over the past several years to make that ride so boring that noone wants to bother.

I guess I'm in the minority because I loved this show. I've seen it twice now I believe. Of course, I'm a big car fanatic so that probably explains a lot. I can see how it would be fairly uninteresting for others.

If you really want to change something how about the initial boat scene in the backlot tour. Booring!!!

I hate to say it, but I agree. This is the one attraction in WDW I have done, and don't need to do again. Its a very entertaining and well put together show, but I think once you know the tricks and secrets, the second time around isn't as good. I have seen it twice (two different trips with different people) and the second time around wasn't too great  I can see where people would really enjoy seeing it over and over again (my husband loves cars, bikes and stunts and could see it a lot, but me, not so much, though I could watch Beauty & the Beast a thousand times, and he gets bored after the first 15 minutes lol). It depends on the liking of people, and I think it will continue to draw crowds in for a while.

I saw LMA once and thought it was good, but I don't need to see it again. It will continue to draw big crowds though because Disney Hollywood Studios is probably (maybe Animal Kingdom, too) the only park where you can see everything you want to see in a single day. So sitting down to watch LMA will still allow you to see almost everything you want to see in the park. Plus it is a good break for those tired souls/soles.:animwink:

I enjoyed the show, and will keep going back to see it as long as my kids want to, they still find the fast car chases exciting, and after their first time seeing they felt pretty smart knowing the surpirses coming up, so that part of the show didn't fade for them. We just try to get in right before the show starts now and take whatever seating is left over, I don't think that I would won't to take more time away from other park stuff sitting around waiting for the show to start after seeing it more then once.
