Also according to when this thread first started:
-Facebook, YouTube, & Twitter do not exist. Myspace will be launched next year.

-Only one Harry Potter film has been released (the 2nd doesn't come out until 5 months from now).

-Have you heard of this brand new show called: American Idol? It just premiered.
-The New England Patriots are reigning Super Bowl Champions.

-The words: "Barack Obama" are so obscure, that if you hear them, you'll probably think it's a type of dance.
-The popular TV show: Lost doesn't premiere for another 2 years.
-Expedition Everest doesn't get publically announced until next year.
-It will be over half a decade from now before Disney-MGM Studios is called DHS.
-IOA recently turned 3 years old.
-Universal Studios Florida's Kongfrontation ride is still operating, & won't close for another 3 months.
-Mission: Space & Mickey's Philharmagic don't open until next year.
-Avril Lavigne's 'Complicated' and Nelly's 'Hot In Herre' top the charts as most popular songs.

It's a good attraction when the circumstances are right. By this I mean all effects working, you can feel the jump on your shoulders and no crying kids.
First time I rode it everything worked and when he burped in my face I knew this was something special. Then on my last ride nothing worked and I was disappointed

I had never thought about the fact that for a burp enthusiast, such as yourself, that this attraction, and as far as I know, only this attraction sates the longing for the smell of a good productive burp. I have an idea that would be a win/win for everyone. Why don't "Burp Clubs" spring up for burp enthusiasts? It would be MUCH better than SGE. Multiple burps, different types of burps for burp fetish types, etc. The whole enchilada so to speak. Once all the burp clubs are up and running, we can then replace this show with something that may be a bit better.
Serious side note: The stitch animatronic is impressive. I would think that they've batted around different story lines for this....I'm surprised it has lasted in this form, for this long. Certainly, simple tweaking to increase the popularity of the show has been discussed?
Side note 2: The projections used on the TLoCJS are very nice. They made an idiot out of me. I really thought I was looking at an actor doing the best Johnny Depp I had ever seen in my life. :lookaroun

I agree with your wait time analysis. However, I give it a 6/10 and rated it thusly on themeparkinsider. Fisticuffs at dawn.

But why would you do that with a PG-13 movie series?That situation came about because somewhere in the last 20 some years parents have become an extension of their children as opposed to children being an extension of ourselves. They live for their kids and do whatever is necessary, suffer whatever boredom that is necessary to make sure the little buggers are just happier then anything.But, that said, I don't see anything wrong with a couple of things that are geared strictly toward the younger set. They are people too and they deserve entertainment at their own level. It isn't all about adults either.

I like it too. I think 98% of the hostility regarding the attraction comes from the fact that it replaced something that was vastly superior, all because some stupid parents refused to listen to reason and then got all butthurt. Obviously they couldn't blame themselves, so...
