just a friendly reminder about Alien Encounter and Lilo and Stitch

I also think that Stitch would be great in a revamped Alien Encounter at MK. Not the Lilo and Stitch story mind you, but Stitch causing utter chaos like he did in most of the movie. He is engineered to create destruction you know. I like alot of the people who've posted to this thread don't think it's going to happen, everytime I've gone on AE I've had an average 60 minute wait, but if they were ever to get a wild hair and change it, it would still be a great experience,
I dunno. Something tells me it would turn out morbidly awful. I just hope some year in the future we're all not looking back on this thread, and what you describe has turned out to be the worst thing to ever grace the surface of Disney property.

I say this wins the award for best thread bump of the year. ROFLMAO!!!:p
Agreed. Here's another one. This was back in 2004 when people were discussing the size of the (then working) Yeti.

My favorite quote from this one is when ClemsonTigger says:
Besides, it's not the size, that matters, it's the animagic in it!

Bring us up to date. Are you still in Puerto Rico? I take it you left the hospitality industry. Did you go into medicine or perhaps law? Inquiring minds want to know.

I'll PM you the answers. I have a psycho ex who can find me on this forum :)

Clearly you haven't seen the Jack Sparrow attraction at DHS...

I think it is better than SGE. It could even be good if they lost the Dora the Explorer, follow directions bit.

Edit: I went to theme park insider as an unbiased arbiter and SGE gets a 3/10 whereas Jack gets a 4/10. So...I suppose both are very crappily reviewed.

I'm gonna rant a bit...but I absolutely HATE those aspects of attractions. This is one of the reasons I have no desire to try the new Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction at FLE. From what I've gathered, it consists a lot of: "Okay everybody, make the sound of a horse.."
"Wave your hands & make the sound of the wind/trees..."
"Howl like a wolf..."

I know those sorts of things are aimed at a much younger audience. But they seem so unsophisticated for what Disney is capable of coming up with...even aimed at the smallest of it's guests.

End rant.

I understand that you want a variety of attractions, but I feel that they should be geared towards FAMILIES, not small children.
The other things the Jack attraction is missing (this is from RIGHT after opening, so it may be better now):
A) A more appropriately-timed preshow. When I went we waited an awkwardly long amount of time for the preshow to start and between the preshow and being moved in.
B) Someone explaining where to stand. Like a good little guest I moved all the way in... and couldn't see a darn thing because the ship was blocking the main projection wall, as well as Jack himself.
C) Some PHYSICAL changes to the set. Yes, the projections on everything are VERY impressive, but they should be an ELEMENT of the show, not the whole show.
D) A FRIGGIN' JACK MEET AND GREET!!! For the love of God, that's a no-brainer! A controlled environment (to control the ladies), a themed location... it'd be gangbusters!

I think it is better than SGE. It could even be good if they lost the Dora the Explorer, follow directions bit.
What? You mean they shouldn't gear a PG-13 movie series to the preschool crowd?
It was so awkward watching everyone talk back to the skelehead when he was specifically talking to the kid on the stage in the back... which no one noticed.

That situation came about because somewhere in the last 20 some years parents have become an extension of their children as opposed to children being an extension of ourselves. They live for their kids and do whatever is necessary, suffer whatever boredom that is necessary to make sure the little buggers are just happier then anything. :D But, that said, I don't see anything wrong with a couple of things that are geared strictly toward the younger set. They are people too and they deserve entertainment at their own level. It isn't all about adults either.

There's a reason why Shrek sold better than the latest Pooh movie. Just saying.
