Wait so it's 1/12th scale, that means the tallest section appears to be about 2 feet tall meaning 24 feet tall in the final attraction? That is much taller than I anticipated this being. Although the model looks pretty boring. Look at the lower level, looks like water falling in flat sheets with no doubt some kind of screen or something behind the water. If so, might be a pretty lame experience.

I think the addition of trees/greenery will help a lot compared to the model.

The model looks to be of the alcove directly behind the entrance section with the heart of Te Fiti. The concept art shows the rainfall areas including colored lighting, and as @UNCgolf said, there will be a lot of surrounding greenery. The more dynamic carvings will be in other areas.

That Te Fiti reminds me of the Earth Goddess at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, although Te Fiti is smaller (the Earth Goddess is 25-30 feet) and doesn't look as good, at least in model form.

I was waiting for this...As soon as they started the project years ago I thought about the similar though larger version I have seen in Atlanta and others around the world...Yeah, it's nice...but hardly groundbreaking...that's all....
