Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

So I took a ride on the Epcot monorail tonight to see things in person. I have to say the placement of this thing feels baffling. First, this will not feel connected to the Seas given the large pond. In the concept art, the part of the Seas you see is actually Coral Reef. This really does sit where Innoventions was, extending out close to the monorail. And, having walked that area a lot when I worked at the Land, It will feel much more like it's tied to the spine than the rest of World Nature.

I think they missed a huge opportunity to have this straddle the monorail with entrances in multiple locations. Then have something along the central circle.

Maybe they have something else planned, but Epcot is starting to feel like a Powerpoint where everyone did their own slide with no eye toward how they would all fit together.

Think we’ll be seeing some type of Moana meet and greet experience accompany this.

Maybe common knowledge, but I’m pretty sure she’ll be showing up.

I don't think they can unless they turn the entire thing into a queue. There's only one entrance and one exit.

It's certainly possible that they'd do that, but it feels like a huge waste of money to design all of that solely as a meet and greet queue.

It won't...The attraction is "Inspired" by Moana about water conservation and water interaction.......Which you can do at Imagination's water area..I swear it's days are numbered if we see leaping fountains in that area...

In keeping with the highly themed standards Disney made their theme park name on, the Moana meet and greet will be at the former Cool Wash near Test Track. They’ll just keep the misters on because it’s water or something.

Several posters have commented they felt Journey of Water worked well because it was right across from the Seas, almost making it feel like a miniland about the water. This will likely feel more separated and (physically) tied to World Celebration more than World Nature - noting the entrance will certainly be on the WN side. That was what I was referencing.

I’m confused - isn’t there supposed to be a new path from the hub to north of Coral Reef, right about where the 5 is in the first numbered picture? Doesn’t seem to be room.
It will begin just to the left of where 6 is in that photo and will continue northwest from there, running along the northern edge of Journey of Water. The building at 5 will be buried in a backstage triangular wedge of trees.

Inexcusable. For the center of your park to be messed up for this long when….
Its landscaping…
Theres no ride…
Theres no show building…
Those take time… but fing glorified landscaping. Disneyland was built in a year!!! Its just stupid at this point.

I am feeling so disappointed with the company over this.

I don’t know what to do about our upcoming trip.
