Joffrey's Coffee to replace Nescafe Coffee throughout Disney's Domestic Parks and Resorts

Starbucks is only priced as a high end coffee and I feel confident, especially after hitting their site and having some at DL, that Joffrey's is of the same quality as Starbucks. I go to Starbuck enough to know. It looks as though finding good coffee/espresso will be easier now which is positive. True coffee and espresso snobs wouldn't be found dead at the green mermaid and would never call it high end. That's not me yet thankfully. I still enjoy my grande 3 pump iced white mocha :)

loved the joffrey coffee compared to anything else on site, and I am a Starbucks hater. Hope they rll out with some of those flavored coffees, too. A little variety. I mostly switch to diet soda at the world, because those carts with coffee are so hard to get to consistently. I am just happy they are making an effort to change something the fans have been LOUDLY complaining about for years. Now, about that yeti....

It is odd how that works. I grew up with the dehydrated mash potatoes and did not like the real ones until I was well into my 20's.
My husband tells me he likes my smashed roasted garlic yukon gold potatoes....but could we make the instant sometimes... o_O
Makes me insane. He grew up on it.
My family likes burnt, old, cold coffee. They had no money, made a pot, left it out all day to drink from. They don't know how to drink real coffee.

Hi Everyone! My name is Rachel, and I'm with Joffrey's Coffee and Tea Company, and we are proud to have been serving our specialty coffee at selected Disney locations for nearly the last 20 years. Recently, Disney Resorts named Joffrey's as their official specialty coffee, and as a result, you will be seeing our coffees in some new places within Disney Parks and Resorts. Now, that doesn't mean we'll be the only coffee offered on Disney's properties, but we will be in more places than before. Now, Joffrey's coffees will be served at selected quick service restaurants, resort areas, conference spaces, and even at some hotels in-room, in addition to the Joffrey's owned and operated carts and kiosks around Disney. Also, we are bringing in new machines to brew this coffee. We are very particular about producing the highest quality beans in our coffee roasting facility in Tampa, so we want to ensure that what is brewed at the parks is of a similarly high standard. We are in the process of making the change now, and soon we'll be able to offer a list of all the places within Disney's parks, resorts and hotels where guests can enjoy the coffees we have created exclusively for Disney.

If you have any questions or concerns, let us know!

I had a Nescafe iced coffee when I was there in February...
What I got wasn't iced coffee...it was iced...and it was coffee colored...but it certainly didn't taste like an iced coffee.

Greetings Rachel and Welcome to WDWMAGIC: The best WDW Online Fan site you'll find!:) I want to thank you for taking the time to share with us the great history and product you have of Joffrey's Coffee and Tea Company. Glad you'll have a nice prescence in the Disney P&R's and I can't wait to see you guys in WDW. Not to disappoint you, but I myself am not the biggest coffee drinker/supporter in the world (tried yours and Java's and spit it in the garbage). However, I want to contribute my service to your company since you seem to be very open and passionate about your present and future customer base. So on that note, I actually do have a question. What kind of baked goods are you considering to implement in the WDW Parks? I can always go for a good Cinammon Roll and a Crossaint sandwhich any day, but I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Now, can anyone imagine Thomas Smith or Jenn Fickley-Baker or Gary Buchanan joining this site and talking to any of us?!??!

This IS a Disney fan site. It IS the No. 1 WDW-centric site. Yet, no one ever communicates with us.

Now, I don't blame Thomas, Jenn or Gary because if they put one post here (even just representing themselves) they would be on the unemployment line tomorrow.

This IS yet another reason why Disney has an awful social media strategy.

Perhaps they DO comment on this site....but under alternative names..?

( squints and looks around cautiously )

Read here? All the time. Amongst a very select audience.

But comment? These folks are as paranoid as the social media whores, only these folks actually are professionals with jobs on the line. They won't take the chance of commenting here under any name.

Thank you Rachel for taking the time to respond to this thread. I look forward to trying some of your coffee on my next trip. I do have a question. Many people that are Disney fans try and support the companies that are a part of the Disney family (like Joffrey's) outside of the park setting. At home when I'm shopping, I try and pay attention to what brands I purchase and if it comes down to a Disney partner company, I will always choose them. With that said, is Joffrey's considering selling its coffee products outside of the Central Florida area and perhaps start branching out to other southern states? I'd love to purchase and try a few different flavors.

Also, is Joffrey's considering selling its coffee in the form of K Cups for the Keurig? Thanks!
