jeeze louise...the first time I used a passholder discount on a room was in August of 2004. I stayed in a standard room at AKL. I think the rate was 105 a night. Now the AP discount is 165 a night. I know, different seasons, but it still seems like such a big jump in less than 5 years.

I called yesterday or maybe the day before to compare the AP rate (the discount code was posted on another site) to the rate my brother got on the Stay 4/Get 3 at Poly at the end of May. The AP rate wasn't even close after you pull the MYW tickets out of the equation. It was substantially more...more than $500 if I remember correctly. Just an FYI!

Same for me too. The 4/3 vs. AP rate was only a $29 difference but if you're going for less than a week - it'll save you $$

I received the e-mail from Disney Destinations about this AP rate yesterday. I checked almost every concievable range of dates for late April and early May in the eligible time frame, and there was NO availability for any value resorts. My son's and hubby's birthdays are the 1st week in May and we had considered going for the celebration promotion. Our AP expires after that week. It's just not in the budget for anything above a value resort right now, so I guess we'll just have to wait until another opportunity comes along. It's very frustrating to see these offers and yet the availability isn't there. That seems to be happening more and more with the AP discounts.:brick:

I booked the Buy 4/Get 3 promo for POFQ from May 21st - 28th. I saved about $75 with the AP discounts (not counting the approximately $150 I saved with not having to buy the 2 one day tickets). That will pay for a couple of our dinners! Thanks Elizabeth!!!! KK is great!! :sohappy:
