I know that we're probably going to pay off our Disney trip this year with our tax return. Anyone else going to use their tax money to pay off their trip to the World this year????
Just a reminder -It's not really Uncle Sam paying for that - it's just you overpaying him, and him gladly holding onto your money all year at 0% interest. Seems to me there's a better way....
We gladly over pay thru out the year to make sure we dont have to pay him on April 15th...yes we gain no instest on the money but its a nice chuck of change we know we will get to pay for vacation. Been doing it this way for a long time...works for us and thats all that matters.
Hahaha I NEVER get a refund. But according to my accountant, there is no reason I should. You are simply giving Uncle Sam an interest-free loan. Always owe a little bit.Uh, no. What we would love to spend on a nice trip is likely gonna be handed over to Uncle Sam's greedy little paws. He won't see a nickel, tho, until the last possible moment.

If we got it for teams that really stink , being a Cub fan for 46 years I should get a million or two!Isn't there some type of major deduction for all of the money wasted on the Red Sox season last year?
Just finished my taxes yesterday, only to find out that they cannot be filed(or accepted by the IRS) until mid-Feb at the earliest. All because it took Congress way to long to realize that the Bush era tax cuts are a good thing. So it looks like now I'll have to wait until March to get "reimbursed" for our trip next week.
