Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

I think this has already been mentioned, but the hat would be nice at the top of the hill before you enter Fantasmic! theater. I would be ok with it outside the main entrance too.

I'll put my guess on the hat being replaced by a more permanent stage base in front of the Chinese theater. One that would make it easier for them to add/remove the trusses and lighting when they are doing shows, but not be very noticeable when the stage isn't in place. That will also give them more room in front of the stage for the audience.
been mentioning that a lot in the forum. But a few people are worried that the hat might block the view of tower of terror from Morocco in Epcot.

He's been first reporting information and right about rumors Regarding WDW entertainment enough that I feel I have no reason to question him.

If he's wrong, he's wrong, but he deserves some respect.
And when someone makes a statement, I deserve an explanation. I have never just accepted, blindly what someone has said if it isn't backed up or told to me in a way that is credible, and that covers most everyone that posts about "new" secret Disney projects. Tell me why and I might decide it worthy, but, one must earn respect, including myself, it isn't just given for no reason. I consider when someone answers with a two word response ("It has", in this case) to be a lack of respect to me. It's condescending and insulting. Respect works two ways.

Many, including you, do not have much use for anything I say, but, I at least attempt to explain why I feel the way I do about things that are going on. No one has to agree with me, but, I feel that if I'm going to make a statement I, at least, want to explain my reasons.

Yeah, you explain your opinions. Great. How would you like someone, who hears things they shouldn't neccesarily be repeating, explain what they are hearing?

And that's fair. But just saying that "I heard it from so & so, can't tell you anymore" by itself has as much credibility as a teenager saying "I totally have a girlfriend, but she goes to another school, you don't know her, and you can't meet her."

Then don't repeat them. Life sometimes can be really simple. In the long haul what happens in a theme park is without any real bearing on ones life. There is no need to say things as fact, that cannot be backed up. I have gone on record many times and said that everything I say on this or any other board is purely my opinion. It has no basis of fact and if I did know something that I knew I shouldn't be repeating... I wouldn't repeat it.

Depends on the poster.

So, if I'm reading this correctly. You'd prefer if none of the posters here, who we consider insiders. Post any of the rumors/inside info they are privy to? Because they can't out their sources?

It's no different than when WDW1974, Marni or Lee say something. You can't give up the source or you won't get the information anymore...

I hope they have a hard ticket event for the destruction of the BAH.

I would likely be enticed to pay a large amount of money to stand in front of that BAH, sipping the complimentary glass of wine and snacking on delicate finger food, while watching it be destroyed right before my eyes.
Or at least the first wrecking ball whack...or backhoe jab.
Yeah. I would pay money to see that one late evening.

Is that morbid for me to admit...?

I am delighted it is finally going away.
It was nice for the 100th in 2001, but it has waaay overstayed it's welcome in my opinion.
Hooray for the Chinese Theater being allowed to be seen again !

If I were in WDW, I would without question make sure to be in DHS on Wednesday. Even if all I saw involved the construction of construction walls around the BAH, it would be worth it.

So, how many people do you think will be showing up tomorrow taking sad pictures around it like there were on the last day of Maelstrom?
People who are upset or the folks who show up and take pictures of everything?

And that is one of the problems in this country today. Respect is not earned. Respect is given until it deserves to be taken away. Treat everyone with respect and life will be a lot better. Even if it is the first time you meet someone you should treat them with respect. If they do something disrespectful to you then you may take away that respect. One does not need to earn respect but they must be worthy of keeping that which was given.

I am excited that it is coming down, but it is a little sad in a sense. It is a nice piece of architecture, it was just placed in a horrible location.

Is there any rumor of it being placed elsewhere maybe? Could it work outside the park? Like over where the DHS christmas tree is usually placed? Thats kind of out of the way but there is space there. I can't believe I am taking part in demolition backlash. I have definitely crossed over into a new dimension.
