Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

Maybe they could just close the park completely for one year... Blitz the park...make all the changes and in a year reopen, re-branded and complete... Construction projects wuold not have to work around guests...Guests wold not have to go through a park full of construction walls and shuttered attractions... Unfortunately until Avatar opens I don't think this would be possible... they need a little more capacity in the other parks...
don't forget they could work 24hrs a day. Not going to happen though.

Thanks, I cannot imagine how I never noticed that before. I appreciate the picture, now I know what we are talking about at least. If I had to guess, however, I would say that they were taken down for reason not related to the BAH.
They used to retract into the building for the original Sorcery in the Sky. During the day they were raised.

I believe only one retracted, to provide a clearer view of the inflatable Sorcerer Mickey.

Well that answers that. Anything that requires a mechanical raising and lowering will eventually stop working, corrode and not be repaired. So, I still think that they won't be back.
