Can't say I'm surprised. It sounded like something they'd do and it makes sense it's an option on the table. Can't say it would thrill me but I'm not surprised.

I was asked earlier if this could happen, as in an Indy presence in DAK.

The answer is yes it could. Along with several other options all vying to be the one chosen for something that may or may not happen.

How does the winner eventually get chosen? Is it just Chapek saying I like this proposal, build this?

A business case would be made for each and presented. Often the one that ticks the most boxes would be chosen. For something like this I dare say it'd go to Iger.

That sounds like a big project, something larger than just one e ticket. Are we talking about a new land here?

It's too early to give a definitive date. I know of two years for DAK projects but this is far too way pre blue sky to have any dates.

Right now nothing is confirmed regarding the 50th for DAK aside from celebration decor. We'll find out if this changes.

Honestly if an Indy themed South America replaced Dinorama and the Nemo theater, and left the rest of Dinoland alone, I'd be thrilled.

Dinorama needs to go. Imagineering turned lemons into lemonade but it just isn't DAK quality.

It could rather easily be relocated though.
