Once you ticked the No I think it funneled you to a loss recovery portion which meant you were gone and the answer was more important than the diminution of perception of value so they felt it was OK at that point, I wonder what you would have seen if you tick Yes?
Agreed, but I’ve given negative answers on previous Disney surveys and I’ve always felt that the answers they let me select from are more positive than this. I’ve always had to use the ‘other’ option to give my opinion on value for money / decline in quality etc.
The link to the survey still works so I can show you the Yes outcome:
If I said that I didn’t go to Orlando I also get some interesting answer selections depending on if I said I’d considered it or not:
I did consider Orlando:
(Selecting ‘I didn’t plan to go to
Walt Disney World’ in that final section takes me back to the section where I can select that it isn’t worth the cost).
I didn’t consider Orlando:
I’ve been regularly visiting Orlando from the UK for around 20 years now and I’ve
never received a survey like this from WDW. They must have seen a significant decline in UK bookings, and my feeling is that the question they’re trying to ask is if it that is their fault.
Which it is, at least to some extent - we’ve been to Orlando three times this year and we’ve only set foot on Disney property twice, both times to eat at The Bouthouse. Prior to 2020 we would normally spend 5-10 nights at a Deluxe resort every time we were in Orlando, hit all the parks, eat on site for every meal etc. Now we stay at Universal for the whole trip instead of splitting our time between the two resorts.
