Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Not for nothing, but I think Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is taking up a surprising amount of discretionary income this year. The demographics are a decent match for WDW. And live entertaiment costs are high enough that they're an either/or with vacations for a lot of folks.
Taylor Swift ticket sales which have astronomical pricing are through the roof . All concert dates in USA and other countries on the current tour are all sold out.

Agreed but there is no way anyone who had to “decide” between TS and Disney is making any dent in their attendance numbers… i was there the crowd is literally 90% woman/girls/young adults & rest mostly Dad’s like myself.

I remember seeing a news story that the prices for the US tours were so expensive that some people planned on flying to a different country to see her concert there. Insane if people are actually doing that.

I laughed when the $50M annually QB NY Jets, Aaron Rodgers was seen dancing and singing to Taylor Swift near the stage at a recent TS concert at Met Life Stadium , NJ.

I was very happy none of my kids had any interest in going to that concert ... so we can afford to go to Disney this year (and if positioned as either or they definitely would pick Disney)

have friends who did that - the price of the tickets locally was so expensive they decided to look at international stops and saw the Australia one was more reasonably priced ... obviously spending more once flights, etc are included but treating it like a vacation to Australia and seeing the concert as well

Yeah, I think ... I think it's not nothing. I'm going to ask around.
I mean if she's responsible for inflation and increase in GDP of some countries. I think the larger point would be it's not just Taylor, but Beyonce, BTS, etc. That concert experience is competing for vacation dollars.

Yeah I saw people doing it for Beyonce too. I saw a few people say that they went to the Stolkholm concert because even with the money conversion it was cheaper than going to one of the US concerts.
I saw they bagged her show in my home stomping ground due to “logistics”

Got insider tip on that one…just isn’t gonna make enough money there and threw a fit

Also have a relative that works for the NFL…let’s just say that family is a REAL piece of work.

I bet it’s not really at all. There’s money to go around for the concert Goers except perhaps a small margin of error
