Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Nobody cares about my travel (or anyone’s for that matter)…but here goes:

So went to magic kingdom and mgm yesterday…got the genie because I had no idea what the crowd level would be:

Answer: severely down. Used lightning 9 times…without breaking a sweat. Standbys all pretty low…the lead on the LLs where less than 30 minutes throughout the day.

DAK slow this am.

Attendance is down…I know what I’m looking at.

There’s something up: it’s the Economy and price. Period.

And a big fat bobs fail that nothing is under construction…they’re gonna need buzz.

And tron was fun. Guardians is better…but a decent middle class ride.

interesting as it is a holiday weekend that typically draws a crowd (gee, folks must fly into Orlando for things other than WDW).

I would think Genie makes sense at the MK and is a bonus when you can use it in a 2nd park.

AK today, I imagine it is too cold this morning (great time to be there!) and things should pick up -- I also assume weather/weather forecast impacts crowds as well.

Have fun!

So much for that bump from all those travelers to MCO this weekend.

Anyways it's always been strange that at most other parks including Universal new attractions seem to draw people to the parks. For some reason Tron isn't doing it.

If they opened a standby queue Tron would be doing it.

I have heard that the reservations won't go away for Disney uses them to better balance attendance across the four parks, I do not know how they would be doing this, but it would mean someone would need to find a park w/o reservations available to be driving to a different park.
I don't where got that is formation from because it looks like Disney is really cutting park on the use of theme park reservation requirements. Over 2 weeks ago, it was mentioned Walt Disney World will be removing theme park reservation requirements for date base tickets in 2024.

Tron is literally 60 seconds long from launch to deceleration. Its pretty in the dark, thats about all it has going for it.

Glad to see that in spite of the diatribes, you are keeping Bob's only profitable division in the black.

Don’t count out those that that do not want to give the state of Florida money right now… I know a few that changed their travel plans due to the Governor there… including one family that is going to Disneyland instead… yes MCO may be breaking records… but the issues are probably more personal to Disney fans

If they are keeping their pricing on a per park basis, single day tickets will still pick a park as the price differs per day (so a reservation of sorts), multiday have more freedom in just needing a start date w/o daily park reservation need, but this seems more for calculating what WDW charges for those days. Stats could formulate a park attendance estimate for this subset.

Anyhow, this would still allow them to influence passholders park visit that occur before 2PM plus the limits on the MK requiring reservations seems to be a way to limit what % of passholders get to visit the MK based on day guest volume for that day.

Can you pick up some Krispy Kreme’s and deliver them to me on your way in from BVL? Thanks

They certainly will be better than Everglazed

It’s fun…but really just the launch and outside part…the second half is becoming a Disney staple: curves inside a building

It feels like they could have done more with it

You may want to check your eyes.

We have reports here that MCO is mobbed.

Should be massive wait times.

Maybe your at Sea World and just confused?

The weather is actually beautiful

Crowds are a little thicker across the board today…but nothing crazy

We went in early to “disarm” the genie and did all the stuff we’d normally due…I’ll be at the pool bar at DAKL if anyone wants to stop by…bottoms up 👍🏻

That’s right…the whales should have given it away

OIA always says “mobbed” to me. It was built in 1985 when they got half foot traffic

Newark puts it to shame. Let that sink in.
